Well I don't really use it.
Except as a paperweight.
When I was having all the trouble with my desktop I got it out thinking I could quickly look at a document I needed.

You could try a lightweight version of Linux, try this on it.

What are its specs, I might be willing to buy it off of you, you do paypal?

It's a Lenovo.
I'm not sure of it's specs.
I only paid $100 for it new in the box.
It was great in it's day.

I'll give you $15 without knowing the specs, maybe up to $30 if you can find out the specs. My laptop is one that I only paid $100 for, some of those machines are actually pretty good if you know what kinda of software to use. My Dell will take hours to load to with Windows 7 but is quite usable with Arch Linux.

Must be an Autistic thing.
It's so pretty with those rainbow letters on the lid.

Understood,

I have things I am attached to that aren't worth much either. The Desktop I am on is my least favourite actually even though I use it the most and its the most powerful. Its got serious audio issues and you have to use the front sound jack or else the sound goes berserk. I think its an Asus thing, every Asus part I've had has had something wrong with it. Thats not to say Asus is bad, I love Asus but they are quirky as best. My first computer was Asus and two of my Desktops are Asus motherboards.

This may sound weird, but I really admire the quality and design of the old Lenovos.
It has a brushed silver case and the keys feel like real keyboard keys, not those dead flat keys you get on laptops now - I hate those.

I can sleep for as long as I want the next few days, which is good because I haven't been able to sleep well, then I have to get up and go out early...

Oh yeah, I pretty sure it'll run good on your Laptop. I ran it on a 1996 Desktop when my main computer died as a teenager for a while. Its not fancy but it'll surf the net.
