ah, bugger it. I don't think I've got the energy.

Though, everyone who knows me has always joked that I can light a fire out of wet paper and wood. It's true. If there's one thing I'm good at, it's lighting fires. I guess that comes from being a scout for so long.

Is that chocolate in there? What's the biscuit? How do you make them?

I'm getting hungry again for sweets :)

Indoor fires are possible, however.

It looks rather overcast here. I'd have to stick my barby under cover. No biggie.

Yup. Traditionally, you take a chocolate bar (like Hersey's), a toasted marshmallow and squish them between two graham crackers (subtly sweet and cinnamon-y crackers).

How can you taste that lovely layer of burnt sugar with all that other stuff going on?
Sacrilege!

I would eat the marshmallow, then watch the biscuits burn as I eat the chocolate.

we don't have graham crackers here - but I could probablt purchase them from USA Foods. A company in Victoria I often buy my US foods from.

I usually always cook with Crisco - but I can't afford it lately.

We don't have Crisco here in Australia

I love the stuff and it's perfect for seasoning cast iron skillets

It looks a lot more decadent than it is. Graham crackers aren't very sweet. (If you've seen any American dessert recipes floating around the web in recent years, with layers of various candy bars and every other sweet available, fear not! S'mores are not like that crap :P ). The graham crackers mostly serve as a method for containing the gooeyness and keeping fingers from getting burnt.

Defiling a delicate marshmallow by squashing it between chocolate and biscuits is a horror story, as far as I'm concerned.

How much wine can a person drink and still remain sober. Honestly, I'm starting to feel ripped off!

I suppose the more often you drink, the more accustomed you get to it.
I'm just about to have a cider.
