I dreamt I was flying an old WWII aeroplane last night.
Some kind of race.
At one stage a helicopter joined us.
I'm sure the pilot was Ernie Dingo.
WTH?

I'm feeling kind of guilty about spraying my outside Lavi after I saw all the carnage I caused, but you can't have funnel-web spiders crawling around your feet when you're trying to take a dump. :(

Wear boots.
With boot skirts, so they can't crawl in.

At home, I get around bare foot. I only wear thongs outside. If you've got to go, you've got to go. Sometimes in a hurry. Boots aren't practical. Take too long to put on. If I took the time to put my boots on, I wouldn't need to go there any more. Know what I'm saying?

Yeah, I don't wear shoes either.

Oh Raleigh, this is beautiful. I'm sitting out in my back yard. It's 8:14am. It's so peaceful. The birds are chirping and squawking away. I'm having a nice peaceful drink.

Life is good!

It's still raining/overcast here.
I have to sew up a cover for my clothesline a bit later - one of the storms destroyed the one I had.
I bought some shadecloth yesterday.
I have a Singer industrial sewing machine out in one of the sheds.
I got it for free.
An old lady was throwing it out.
My partner (who can fix anything) had a look at it and replaced a washer, which probably would have cost less than 5 cents.
Now it works like a dream.

That sounds nice.
The wild doves were cooing this morning.
Every dove makes exactly the same sound.
With 3 coos, then a shorter coo at the end.
The end coo sounds like a woof.
I imagine them saying, "The dog said, woof!"
I think of silly things sometimes.
A LOT, really.

I used to have a cover over my clothes line. A plastic tarp that came from Bunnings.

I thought I was a genius. I could hang clothes out, even in the rain.

You ought to hear the noises this Myna Bird is making here. Beautiful.

I love the message and video clip in this song, but I don't like the singer's voice when she starts belting it out.
I really wish someone with a less annoying voice would remake it.

I scared it off unfortunately:

I can't hear that very well.
I can't hear high-pitched sounds.
Are they high-pitched?
The doves are very clear - probably because they're lower pitched.

Yeah, kind of. That's unfortunate that you can't hear them. They sound beautiful.
