That's a very diverse range of sounds.
Sounds like a siren in some places.
And clicks.

The talking one was very clear.
If you had a myna bird, what would you teach it to say?

I swear, they're aliens in fluffy suits and they have a message for us!

Not the least of which is, "STOP TRYING TO BLOODY KILL US!"

Every Aussie wants them to die. WE brought them here. That's our fault. We tried to use them for our own purposes but they had their own plans.

All nice things.

That's a very interesting question.

I'd probably also teach him/her to say, "Boo, please don't eat me!"

I have a nesting box I constructed out the back and a big cage, all ready to go. I'd NEVER let Boo and my Myna (if I ever get one) to see each other. I'd keep my Mynie in a seperate room. One that I don't let Boo into.

I don't even know why I LOVE them so MUCH!

I've never had an interest in birds. We used to own budgies all my life when I was a kid.

We always had a blue budgie called Pretty.

And when one would die, we'd get another blue budgie and call him Pretty too.

All in all, growing up, we had about 5 Prettys - Mum was weird like that. Aspie.

But I never really got into birds until I fell in love (Special Interest) with the Acridotheres Tristis, Common/Indian Myna Birds.

Raleigh, did all my talk of Myna birds scare you off?

I'm sorry.

I just get carried away sometimes and I don't have anyone else to talk to.

No, that's ok.
I know how you feel.
I don't talk about my real obsessions because I know no one's interested.
At least I like birds.
I have a quarian called Thowra and a budgie named Choc Chip.

A quarian. Wow.
And Choc Chip. That's an ingesting name. Is it a male or female? How did you come up with the name Choc Chip? That's a cool name. What colour is he/she?

About your obsessions? I learnt that lesson a long time ago when I was talking about mine with my brother in law and I got very hurt and I stopped talking about them for a long time but if you ever want to talk about yours, I'd be more than happy to listen. I'd be interested in hearing about them and it might just do some good to talk about them.

It's only been recently that I've been able to start talking about mine again but I feel it does me good.

He's called Choc Chip because he's white with brown spots - like choc chips.
He used to have a partner called Skittles, but she died.
Thowra will sit on my shoulder and he can wolf-whistle.
Choc Chip's a little bully, though - very vicious.
He's always bossing poor Thowra around.

Han Solo: Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen anything to make me believe that there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything. 'Cause no mystical energy field controls my destiny. It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.

Didn't he change his tune?!?!
