I know and understand the horror. The torment that life is.
The pointless suffering that all this is.

:) No - I've never seen a black fella turn white - especially after seeing a ghost.

Have you?

Gordon used to claim, he was part Aboriginal. He had the dark eyes.

I always do this when I'm cooking in the oven. I never note the time I put the stuff in the oven and as a result I never know when it's time to take it out :P

My oven is fairly old and has no timer.

There's no joy. Only suffering.

What's the point???

Aboriginals are terrified of ghosts.
There are many evil ghosts in their legends.

They used to joke that if they saw a ghost, it would scare the black off of them and then they'd be cast out from their tribe.

Mentioning the name of a dead person disturbs the spirit of the dead and can make them into an evil spirit.

I know. That's why when they play TV programs of dead Aboriginals, they put out a warning first - that this program shows Aboriginals that have died. Because they can't watch that.

I once saw a program about Albert Namatjira. They gave that warning then and I wondered why. I asked Mum and found out why.

Maybe I'll go out later today, or tomorrow if it's late by the time I'm ready

It would hurt while you go out. I wonder, for how long and how badly?

I don't know. Maybe I won't go out today, my Mum's at work (Yes, on a Sunday) until either 12 or 2, and I don't think she'd like it if I left my siblings alone without telling her, which I can't do because she'at work so she can't answer the phone.

You totally misread my reply.

Sorry, it looked as if it was a direct repsonse to the post before. Urgh, why am I suddenly being asked to verify my posts? There's nothing wrong with it!!

It was, but I was being facetious. Your comment just happened to fall in just perfectly with a few posts I'd made before you posted. My comment was more to myself in relation to previous postings I'd made - regarding 'going out' and not so much, in style.

Figure it out by reading previous posts.

Let me know when you figure out what I'm talking about.

:D
