You know what else makes a great natural deoderant?
Lemon juice.
Only don't use the bicarbonate of soda and lemon juice together

I don't have mitral valve prolapse as far as I know.
I just looked for my Ventolin and I've left it at work.
Great.
If I drop out suddenly you'll know I've died.

If you're concerned you're going to have an asthma attack and you've got no preventative with you, go see a doctor or go to hospital. Very serious.

I think both my preventers must be at work because I can't find my spare, either.
There's a chemist very close to me.
I'd take some caffeine instead but not with my heart doing weird things.
Just need to keep calm.

Maybe a panic attack

No, it's not a panic attack.
It's a random thumping in my chest that leaves me short of breath.
It was really bad when I was lying down (I'm sitting up now and it's better).

I just got home.

I'm glad you're feeling better.

Are you still okay?

The bicarb idea sounds good.

^
^ I'm too tired to think about chemistry, what happens? Dang, now I thought about it, bicarbonate is a base and lemon juice is an acid. Wouldn't it just create water and a salt though? Or is there a lot of heat involved with the reaction.

Not a good look.

@ImAnAspie
Thanks, I'm feeling better now.
I don't know what my heart was doing there.
It was very unpleasant.

When I was a kid, I used to have all sorts of chemicals at home.

One day, Mum went crook on me because she took the lid off a bottle of hydrochloric acid I had and sniffed it while I was at school.

I told her, she shouldn't just sniff stuff if she doesn't know what it is. She agreed with me and said I was right. It was even labelled.

I showed her the correct way to sniff stuff you don't know. You know? With the hand.

Sounds like arrhythmia. You should get a referral to see a Cardiologist.
Has it happened before?

I've had it before and went to the hospital.
Whenever they monitor my heartbeat the doctors at the hospital get worried because I have a very strange rhythm.
My heartbeat is inverse.
I had an echo cardio gram and they said my heart was fine.

Last time I had it I came down with the flu shortly afterwards, so I'm thinking it signals some kind of viral infection.

ECG's only monitor it for a short time. You should get a holter monitor on for 24 hours.

It doesn't happen all the time though.
Only once in a (very long) while.

That you're aware of.

Holter monitors can detect irregularities you're not even aware of.

It's no biggie. You just strap it on and wear it for (usually) 24 hours and it'll pick up any abnormalities, if any.

Better to know.

When it comes to your heart, it's best to be safe than sorry because, as you know, we don't have a backup.
