I'll have to read up on her. Never heard of her.

In the US, we had shows like "The Magic Garden", "HR Puffenstuff," "Lidsville," and "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters" which seem very similar to the videos you're presenting us.

I've been to Boston a few of times. One time, it was Minus 18 Celsius with about a 20 knot wind. I stayed in a youth hostel that time. I was going to a linguistics symposium.

Unfortunately, I haven't really taken the Grand Tour of the place. It's a very historical place from a US perspective.

Yeah, we had The Magic Garden, HR Puffenstuff (and the silly talking flute) & Sigmund The Sea Monster too. I don't remember Lidsville but we probably had that too.

And who can forget Mr. Ed, the talking horse.

"But Mister Ed will never speak unless he has something to say" - Rubbish. You couldn't shut him up. Especially the episode when he fell in love with that filly.

Contrary to what the owners manual and internet says, my Lancer does NOT have split folding rear seats.

Use a chainsaw. Then you will!

Gilligan's Island - Ah, every time it came on, I was always hoping it'd be the episode that had the ghosts in it. Remember, the guys dressed in the white sheets?

:P :P

I've often worried that it was a production fault. Too late now, the car warranty is well expired

Unless I find some rear seats at the wreckers or something.

When I was a kid, I was in love with The Flying Nun (Sally Fields). She was HOT! - I also wanted to fly.

After I saw The Nun Story (Audrey Hepburn) and Agnes Of God (Jane Fonda), I wanted to be a Catholic Nun - but I was the wrong sex. I think it was mostly their get-up that interested me. Not the scrubbing floors and stuff :)

My Mum almost became a Catholic Nun but I'm glad she didn't, otherwise, I wouldn't be sitting here, typing this embarrassing mess.

But I sure could have handled living in a Nunnery :) - Joke! Joke!

I did want to be a witch though. All men got to be was warlocks - Boring!

Too much information.

Yeah...I liked the Flying Nun, too!

I was jealous of that Carlos guy (whatever his name was). He owned sort of a party boat, as I remember it.

I don't care if the show didn't get good reviews--I liked it!

Oh man! Mr. Ed!

I still sing that song at work--and people look at me funny.

I was in love with Becky Boone too.

I was a funny little kid!

You know---I never watched Daniel Boone. I don't know why. Maybe I thought it was "too mature" or something.

I was a pretty stupid kid. I thought F-troop was a serious show!

I'm a sleepy kitty.

Oh Kraftie. You have no idea what you missed out on. Daniel Boone was the best.

Did you like Pettycoat Junction, Green Acres or The Beverly Hillbillies?

Personally, I couldn't take too much of The Beverly Hillbillies - except for Elly May.

But I did like Green Acres! - I've always wanted to live on a farm.
