clean laundry(and put away too!)

I've spent a couple of hours in the shed this afternoon playing the violin. Now my hands and feet are so cold they are painful, but I'm pleased I could make a good sound and my music playing and reading is all coming back to me after some 15 years break. I've got a new hobby that is relaxing and fills a few hours in the day. As I'm a temp worker, there are days I don't have work and everyone else is out all day, so I get bored and that's when I start getting gloomy. So it is good to have something to do to amuse myself.

I'm watching Community. I love Abed

Finding explanations via autism pages and forums for things I didn't even know were due to my autism...like meltdowns, executive functioning problems, or today it was discovering that sensory processing disorder explains more about me than I had previously thought...this makes me as happy as if I were sitting flapping like an ADHD penguin.

I am learning about sensory issues today.

Just this whole weekend.

Before my kids left for their 3+ week trip to the US with their mom, I got to squeeze in one last visit with them and took care of some paperwork with their mom (who was rather pleasant.) Those last hugs & kisses were precious... I'll treasure them over the next few lonely weeks!

Of course, $45 for breakfast @ Denny's and $45 of stuff for their trip (not to mention replacing their broken Wii for $99) I feel I've been a little over-generous... I'll feel the financial pinch at some point. I'll have to sacrifice a little this month from this latest bout of generosity. Good thing I like Kraft Dinner.

So help me, I still think my ex-wife is a total hottie... how I wish she'd come to her senses and lose (get help for) her victim-complex that developed from a terrible tragedy.

How I'd love to hold her in my arms again... mmmmm.... curvy.

I had to design and build a window display at an art gallery I work in. The task took me four hours, but I'm so pleased with the result!

Found out Tool are coming to Australia again in May, then they're bringing out a new album soon after that!
