I'm sorry. Cats usually take care of themselves. You don't even need to wash them like you have to with dogs. They're self-cleaning.

We had our mother-in-law living with us. Kathy and I gave up our beautiful bedroom with its own bathroom and walk-in wardrobe for her.

She was always pleasant on the surface but she was very cynical, sarcastic and very bitter. She'd always make these insinuations that could be taken a number of ways.

One day, she did something very offensive to me (my Mother witnessed it as well) and I just switched to guns and gave her a piece of my mind. It was always there but just under the surface. I knew one day, it'd be WWIII between us. And then it happened.

And the rest is history. :(

:( I'm sorry, that sucks!

Yes, she plays the nice and naive act, but really she's just another narcissist like him. She's also an alcoholic.
We lived with her for a period of time and her and I eventually started having blowouts. During that period, I contracted a nasty flu that lasted for 2 weeks. I keep to myself when I'm sick and I am extra nice to avoid arguments since I don't have the strength for them. But despite this, both her and him were doing their best to make me feel guilty and like a burden for being sick (I hadn't asked them for anything).

The same thing happened to me. My right scapula was blown apart in an incident at work and I was off work for many months each year. It was just me and her at home and she was so horrible. Despite all the xrays that showed my shoulder blade was shattered, she tried to make me feel guilty for being off work. The injury was so bad, I needed two operations and it took from 2005 to 2013 get better. And it's still not better.

This was early this morning (dark). I finally wanted to go to bed and Boo wanted to play.

Boo's voice caught on tape

^^^ I don't believe we're incapable of showing empathy. You only need to spend a few days on Random to see that.
