I keep it there so when I open the door, it scoots Boo away so he doesn't get out. Its angle matches the direct angle the door opens to.

It's a Sun Blade 1500 and one day, I'll get the enthusiasm to swap the defective HD in it but for the meanwhile, it's serving a good purpose. But not as a server. LOL

Sun Microsystems all the way. Yeah! :( Until oricle came into the picture :(

I mostly use OpenBSD and FreeBSD. These days, I usually use my 64 bit Windblows laptop. But I LOVED SunOS and later, Solaris. I'm most happy and comfortable in a UNIX terminal. BASH mainly.

One command you'll never want to do is "rm -rf"

Unless you want to wipe everything.

It's a bit like the old Windows

"deltree /y C:\*.*"

YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THAT!! !

"It starts deleting a whole bunch of things!"

Old hacker trick!

Since 1978. I wrote my first BASIC program in 1978.

I started repairing computers when XT's were the thing. Way before AT's and ATX's.

I can program in over 7 different languages, all self taught. Never done a course. And no matter how long I go, not using a language, I never forget it! Thank you Aspergers! :D
