My raspberry bush is sprouting new leaves, and my strawberry plants are growing back. :D

talking with friends over internet. mardi gras. my friend says he got picked for an activist programme for mena region activists and was telling me all about it. he says next year he will help me fill in my form and his partners form and we can go together if we get picked. it is all expenses paid, world wide trips. i can dream.

Oh great!

I planted two new trees last year and they are starting to sprout new leaves too. I even named them, "Phee" (Phoenix - Japanese Maple - she was a quarter of the price as Home Depot was selling them as frost bitten) and "von Ash" (a literal seedling I grew out of my mature tree) I'm so happy to see they have survived! We had a lot of frost at night this year.

The vending machines were not taking bills, so my psychology teacher happened along and bought snacks for me with his debit card. :)

Fantastic! I'd like to have raspberry plants, too, but I think the climate here is too warm for them. I might try, though.
