The fact that I will soon be 38 with nothing to show for it and that I will have to go back to my boring job and they had the nerve to change my roster without warning me. :(

I sold two more guitars today. I now have two left out of 12. The depressing thing is I've entered a time when I am no longer interested in music. For the past 30-40 years I've poured myself into become a professional musician. I've broken off a relationship because of it. It consumed my life for years as did a drug addiction I developed. Now, my music days are behind me.

The man I sold the last guitar to asked me if I'm still pursuing the craft. I told him no. I will no longer look into being a musician. It sucks to just walk away from it after all these years, but mentally, I'm in no position to pursue it again. It's very depressing how low I've fallen in life.

Why are you no longer interested in music? What changed?
