I also dislike white socks. Especially long ones. Worn with sandals.

I always wear socks with sandals.

As for socks, I barely have any pairs of white socks.

I like socks with the day of the week on them, black socks, different colour band on each pair, it's the only way to fly.

I ALWAYS wear flipflops.

Aside from when I run. Then I have cotton socks that are 6/7 inches above my heel. Unlike those little hel socks... *shudders* those are uncomfortable.
