I flipped open my sketchbook to a drawing I did a few days ago. It's not my best drawing by a long shot, but it made me happy because it was based on an awesome and bizarre dream I had, where Johnny Depp played the lead role in a movie about a hotshot astronaut who gets impregnated by aliens. I know that dream sounds comedic, but it actually felt epic and grand, with complex space scenery and character development, and even an escape from an alien laboratory! Sigh... If only that movie were real, it would probably be my special interest...

we have to find someone to make this movie! Someone to write the screenplay. This movie has to be made. :D

Why not? Mary Shelley got the idea of Frankenstein from a dream.

I saw a photo on Facebook of my sister faceplanting into the ground at last Saturday's game, and it was pretty hilarious. I'm almost tempted to post it.

talking to a friend, bumping into a friendly person, postering over zionist posters with queer rights and palestine rights posters at uni, hanging out with a friend, hearing my comrades won their arguments in a campaign group, making a queer pride braclet with the words "gay is good" in beads and rainbows. it's classic. the a is an inverted v on a pink background so it looks like a pink triangle. and i ate so much food today, so much. i ate at a thing meant for exchange students. taking advantage of the fact that i look ethnic. i think i'm a little ashamed. and chocolate milk.

My mom randomly decided she was going to buy me shoes for some reason, and she custom ordered them off the internet. Unusual, but I appreciate it. :)

Talked to Grandmother on the phone about being an Aspie for the first time, and she made me feel great about it... also found out indirectly from her that my parents who are in another state seem to have fully accepted it and can now see what I was seeing for themselves. Feeling very validated and cared for, it's not always quite that wonderful and nobody's perfect, but I'm lucky to have my family.
