I just found out that Barbara Park (the author of the Junie B Jones books) passed away last week at the age of 66. :(

Suddenly, my old JBJ books I've had since 4th grade mean a whole lot more...

It is cold and cloudy, alarm bells are ringing in my head. I think it's gonna snow.

More of my back teeth broke off today. I'm gonna need to get them pulled but I'll have trouble chewing without them there. They're really sensitive too, and one has a sharp edge on it that's cutting the inside of my mouth a little bit. I can't really afford major dental stuff right now. This is why this sort of sh** should be covered by Medicare (without jumping through hoops; checkups, preventative, restorative dental and anything non-cosmetic should be bulk billed).

blame Howard for that , it could be worse you could be in Switzerland paying $400 month* in "private" health care and it doesn't cover opimotary nor dentist and theirs a min deductable to ! why not go to a dental school ?

* but they earn over 100k "average" per year and if it's over 8% of your wage the government comes to the party so who knows :?

I do know the liberal party are @ or as Paul Keating puts it :D mean little people.

Of course if such a wonderful thing were to happen a Medicare Levy hike would come with it (probably up to near 2%). My only other option is partial dentures but I heard they ruin the rest of your teeth. I saw some dental plan thing online last night that lets you pay $60 a year for discounts from participating dentists. The nearest participating dentist to me was Newcastle, 3 hours away :?. It seemed like a really good concept though, something to keep an eye on.

The repeated thought that your mom won't let you go to a convention you badly wanted to go despite you had the money for it and with assurance you will still have money in the bank afterward.
I hate it when my mom will do anything to make me slip up the opportunity!

f**k f**k f**k! I punctured my tyre running up a gutter and now I think my spare is the wrong size. It's about an inch larger in overall diameter. Maybe I can run it but I can't put it in place of the punctured wheel as I can't have two different size wheels on the front if it's FWD can I? I have to do a spare tyre change and a rotate at the same time!

I remember the first time I had a flat (the tyre was faulty, had airbubbles embedded in the rubber or something) and the guy at the tyre place sold me any old second hand tyre that fitted on the rim. Damn him!
