The area code was 210. Nowhere near my Washington DC area. So I googled it. Learned it was the area code of San Antonio Texas. Saw a map of San Antonio, and noticed that the city has an area in its southeast corner labeled "China Grove". Was instantly reminded of the lyrics of the rock song of that name "even though it's in the Lone Star State people don't seemed to care. They just keep on looking to the east..." something something.

So I guess that neighborhood in San Antonio must be THE "China Gove" of the song.

I walked around Value Village wearing a hat with a light bulb that I found there, in order to get a rise out of my friends. Barb told me to put my helmet back on.
