The whole family thing is a great big bleeping joke. I'm better off alone.

I always liked in The Seven Samurai how the ones killed were by firearm (matchlock in this case).

A nice metaphor, really, of the changing times.

The Magnificent Seven played it well too, by showing that just because you're armed with a firearm (everyone had one), it doesn't really matter unless you can use it.

the phase now is one where it's drawn out. very drawn out. it has been nine months since i graduated high school, but, mentally no real change has happened since my underclassman years, which may be totally wrong, but it hasn't hit me like a...brick.

maybe i was misled, or i should stop whipping myself with other's lives social media.

disc three is burned and i need a case that can hold this number or more. really the first time i have been backing up my data.

optical discs are really amazing inventions when you think about them, IMO.

Hey Kip,
I was only thinking about you this afternoon whilst walking home from work. Uncanny!

:)

Animals are like that in general.

I've got a little kitty, and every morning when I'm about to leave for work, I tell him, "Feel free to vacuum or do the dishes!", but he's too lazy to do that.

Well he would, but you see he's very busy plotting to take over the world....and with his studies in Philosophy.
:)

That's true :D

I haven't talked to you in a while. How are things?

And unfortunately I have to get offline now for sleeping purposes. Curse this need for rest!

Hi Aurora,

In the immortal words of HAL 9000, "Everything is going extremely well."

I haven't had a drink or a cigarette since the 29th of February and I've been back on the Fluoxetine since then. I'm up to 60mg. Gotta get it up to 80mg. Depression sux as a co-morbid.

I'm in a much happier place now. I just hope all went well with the medical examinations work sent me to. I should find out in a week or so.

How have you been?

I can't even remember doing the RAADS-R test but the results looked impressive so I shoved them in my signature block.

Ugh I am sick,

I just vomited my guts up and I am trying to decide if its because I am on an illegal drug. I like weed but I am not entirely convinced its a good thing, seems like it is but hard to say. Basically since most drugs we have come from plants, its just taking something that has no research and while I can draw my own conclusions and have. It kinda all goes out the window and everything is a suspect when you are puking. In fact it could be one of my legal meds, I didn't eat anything bad to my knowledge but did consume a whole bag of candy. I guess that could have done it.

Debating if I want to put off wake and bake until I feel better,

That's great! Kudos on the lack of cigarettes and alcohol!

Fairly well. I had to work extra shifts last week for a co-worker on vacation, so I was wiped out from that. Finances are more stable than I thought they'd be by now, so that's good news. What I'm not looking forward to is an impending talk with my parents about leaving my current relationship situation.

Why would your parents have control over your relationship situation?

Are they paying all your bills?

I find that most of threads go unnoticed except in the gaming sub forum, I guess I'll create a thread there but I'll have to think about whats interesting me. I would like to get back in Golden Sun, maybe I start a thread about it.

Toast to all those gamers out there,
