A girl I had been trying to text but I thought rejected me texted me today confused. I have no idea what is going on. For bit I wasnt even sure she was real, I thought I was being Manti Te'o'd. It turns out that I'm the one who's being an ass. I had deleted her number from my phone and messages from okcupid and now I have no idea what is going on, what's been said etc.

I was groggy from my antidepressant and had a headache this morning and was anxious from my house being crowded with relatives, and my stepmom announced something that needed to be done, and I was sitting on the couch, looked up, and said helpfully, "You want me to do it?" And my stepmom just said, "Well, you'd have to move a lot faster than you are!" and just went to do it herself. I was just like, "okay," and I noticed my dad sort of give her an irritated glance as she left, like he thought she was being mean to me. Occasions in which he sticks up for me with her are very rare (my ideal scenario would be for him to follow her, grab her by the forearm, look her in the eye and tell her, "you don't talk to my daughter that way!") but I suppose his quietly demonstrating that he gave at least a little bit of a sh!t about it was reassuring.

Sometimes I just get really upset when I realize that any day could be my last. I don't have a terminal illness or anything like that - I mean in the sense that none of us really know how long we have left to live. I get upset because I feel like I haven't done anything to merit my existence. Nobody will remember me or care about me when I die. I know my loved ones will, but even they will eventually move on with their lives.

On the other hand, I know that the price of fame is really high - no privacy, everything little thing you say or do that could be construed as even the slightest bit controversial gets plastered all over the tabloids, people exploiting you...

Come to think of it, maybe I shouldn't aspire to fame; there is a kind of comfort in obscurity...

My internet has been dropping out all day.

I might have to get a new computer.

Again, nothing.

Nothing made me unhappy today so far!

My sisters purse was stolen outside a friends house. This friend also happens to be in palliative care for end stage cancer.

I wonder if there's a way for me to let my stepmother know that her and her younger son's difficult personalities are like 75% of the cause of my anxiety without her getting all p!ssy and defensive as if it weren't the truth.

I lost my cute Disney World hat on the shuttle while on my way back to the airport...

Sorry about your lost hat, FlutterCordAspie....It stinks to lose a favorite hat. I misplaced my favorite Free Willy-Keiko Foundation hat years ago.

I went to a Mexican restaurant with my family tonight, and when I went to the restroom, I was overwhelmed with the odor this really crappy-smelling air freshener/cleaner...couldn't even breathe. *Cough *Cough* Pee-yew!

I didn't find anything on my last thrifting tour of the year. Oh well.....

The buses were slow today as it is Sunday.

The Bears lost and they will miss the playoffs and more snow is coming this week with a possible major accumulation.
