I also hopes that WP doesn't die out.
i think WP's traffic has actually been increasing, but forums in general are going the way of the VHS and dying out as facebook and the like become ever more prominent.
could...could this be to blame for the high turnover rate among our younger users?

It seems to be that way. The spam bots also don't seem to help.

I'm envious of winter there. It's so very pleasant.
I'm still heading off to work at 6am wearing a short sleeve shirt. Yesterday morning was a bit nippy but it hasn't really gotten that cold yet.
I wish it snowed here.

I don't know but if everything goes over to facebook or twitter or whatever other stupid social media things are out there, I won't be. I hate facebook... although, I have been reading a free Amazon book called "I Have Asperger's" written by Erin Clements and she claims facebook is a good way to meet others on the spectrum. I don't know. Facebook is scary.

I like forums. I've been using forums for the better part of 10 years now, and social networking sites just aren't the same.
