I wonder what's the oldest legal age requirement?

And if autistics have our own country, what's the legal age? I bet it's 25 or 35.

I still love Looney Tunes and Daffy Duck is still my favorite - and I'm 49.

I have always been a strange mix of adult and child - even when I was a child.

I like the terms 'man child', 'adult children' & 'Peter Pan Syndrome'.

I've always said I never grew up properly. I'm still innocent inside. Not tainted by the effects of growing up.

My cat won't stop meowing. I've checked everything, can't find a reason. Unless it's the usual - she wants me to chase her around the room, pick her up, cuddle and scratch while she purrs like mad, and then she jumps down after 2 minutes and ignores me for the rest of the night.

I'm the same way. Porky Pig has always been my favourite. I like those same terms as well. My dad once told my sister that I will never grow up completely. He was right, much to my mum's dismay.

I feel somewhat embarrassed to say that I tend to have a fondness towards cartoons as, I remember some of the ones I watched and recently viewed as of yesterday so, it's nothing terrible to have a childlike quality about yourself..

Hi all,

I've had a really truly brilliant idea.

Quite often through the night (usually around 1-2am), I get heartburn and I've got to make the cold trip out to the dark kitchen in the dark and kick my feet on everything from the bedroom to the kitchen, stand there, measure out the Gaviscon whilst half asleep and freezing. Horrible!

SOLUTION:

I went to the $2 Chinese cheap shop and bought 10 tiny containers for $2 (oddly enough) and filled them all
Image
with 60 grams of Gaviscon (I had to empty 2 grams out of this one) and stuck them in my bedside table drawer. So now when I wake up at some ungodly hour with heartburn, all I have to do is reach into my drawer, take my medi, throw the container into the bin near my bed and then it's back off to the land of nod!

Image

Here, you can see enough Gaviscon for 10 nights if I need it. You can also see my earplugs & sleeping mask (not that I ever need them because it's nice, dark and quiet here :D )

This is something I've wanted to do for a while.

When I'm in a hurry in the morning on workdays, getting breakfast always takes a long time for me to get ready so I came up with this idea.

I measure out 40 grams of sultanas:

50 grams of All-Bran:

and stick it into little zip-lock bags:

(Don't get excited dcj. It's just All-Bran and sultanas :D )

Now, I have the same amount of breakfast every morning and I don't have to waste time preparing it all every morning.

As long as you're happy with you, Cockney. After all, yourself is all you've got.

I agree Kazan. In fact, it's something I've always been proud of. It's just one of the many things that has set me apart from other kids/people (who I now know as NT's). Feeling like I am from outer space was another one but I didn't talk about that as much.

I'm quite often surprised when I hear about people who feel bad about themselves because they know themselves to be different. I have always reveled in being different. I didn't want to be like the others. I was always happy with who I am.

ImAnAspie your on FreeBSD aren't you? Is there any documentation on how to set FreeBSD up as rolling release like Arch Linux? I read it was possible but honestly I had a hell of a time using FreeBSD's ports when I used it.

I really hate FreeBSD but I was a total of 14 when I tried to run it and I didn't really know what the hell I was doing.

Love your wolf wallpaper.

You're using Konsole? YUK! (I never liked KDE much. Too pretty.) I prefer gnome-terminal and even if I'm using Window Maker, Enlightenment or any other window manager, I'll still use gnome-terminal.

Congrats and kudos on getting Tournament running under Linux. That must have been a feat and a half.

They do updates now and again for STABLE and CURRENT and they say freebsd-update is safe to use but I've never had much success. I prefer to reinstall from scratch. I'll customize the kernel, update ports etc. but it never feels safe or stable to me and I hate building world. Always makes me nervous when I press the enter key. I'll admit, Linux is much better at upgrading IMHO.
