No, rather a place I choose to forget since, there is a great amount of unpleasant memories with, only a handful of good ones.

Why? Why can't I make myself happy about going to university? If only there was a way to 'freeze' everything until next year, because I'm sure I would be perfectly happy volunteering at the library even without pay.

I sense a disturbance in the force, in that your not thrilled about attending university? (sighs) I can understand as it means not only a major transition of sorts but, having to deal with a great many anxiety filled social scenarios in literal terms. I'll be brutally honest I attempted university and yet failed, in that I did not even complete 1 full semester. never less I tried. Therefore, try to find out what it's going to be life by possibly being able to take a tour of university if such exists.

^Jedi Master Tifa is deeply troubled by this disturbance. I think my feelings came about once I realized that working was incomparably more enjoyable than school [I volunteered at a school library for Co-Op and loved every minute of it]. I've been to the university several times, and while there's only three buildings, it's relatively close to the downtown district, everyone is nice and friendly, and I've only been signed up for three courses per semester, I'm really not looking forward to it. I think I've also realized that I have different ways of learning than most people, and that I learn best by reading and experiencing than studying or doing school-work.

I understand everyone's learning for is different which can create many obstacles. I'm not sure how conundrum could be resolved unless there is a means of which to ilustrate that you learning in a different fashion without coming off as being pushy in terms of seeking support to aid you during your tenure at university.

^ For a while I've actually been using this little late model CRT I picked up for $10 at a thrift store as my main TV, and I honestly think the picture on it looks nicer than most LCDs. It's only 480i, but amazingly it works perfectly with a composite connection hooked to a modern IPTV box. I own a small 1080p LCD as well, but I'm currently using it as a monitor on my desktop PC. It's higher resolution than the CRT, sure, but having watched a bit of TV on it the picture looks washed out and the audio quality is much poorer.

I can't help but do this 4chan style, lets greentext it 8)

Pick one

Yeah, I know, LCD monitors typically have crappy built in speakers, if any. :P But still, I'm amazed that old-ass CRT TVs are usable at all in 2016. I actually used to have a 32-inch flatscreen, but I wasn't using it much and I didn't really have a good place to put it at the time, so I let my grandmother buy it off me. She was pleased with it because it matched the display resolution of her laptop, and allowed her to get a better view when editing pictures. I regret selling it now, as it was somewhat decent quality for an older 720p display, but I'm glad she's happy with it.

Ugh...

I have to setup my old laptop with Windows to sell, why can't people install their own damn OS?

This person is going to be here in a few hours and I have to reinstall windows, setup drivers, install a dvd player and make sure netflix works.

I think this another fml moment.

I can answer that, for many people tend to be scared about installing an operating system if they've never done it before and feel they would make a major mistake,I'll admit I learned how to install windows and many other advanced technique from reading a book pertaining to pc upgrade and repairs.Still, some people would rather have an expert do such things..

LOL My Windows 10 crashed with the windows media tool from Microsoft and now it won't boot in Qemu. It seems I have lost connection to my hard drive that has the .qcow file but the data is still there. The entire drive is encrypted so its quite a mess for debugging, a lot can go wrong. This chick might get an old crappy version Windows 7 if it doesn't work on my new Laptop. My laptop came with Windows 7 but I just took that disk out and put Arch Linux in so I am thinking I can slide the Windows 7 back in there and run the media tool from that provided it works with Windows 7.

Actually if I get another text asking about this computer, I'll put Arch Linux on it for the lulz.

That presents a conundrum indeed, in that I can remember when I did a custom rig for myself years back and installed windows8 and how I'd not get any visual image wherein, was not aware that sometimes one would have to somehow wait for drivers to be released if they're were not included initially with the OS release. Though at the time I did not know this for, I thought it was a faulty graphics card or psu and simply gave up on such. Since learning that much needed information I know try to not overreact. Hopefully you'll be able to reinstall windows otherwise you'll have to use any contingency plan necessary
