i imitated this with my piano and recorded it.
it is exceptionally hard to play.
it is such a beautiful composition although it leaves 80% of people bewildered as to it's correctness of sentient assemblage.

i can see the compositional genius in it and i care not if no one else does.

I am not a musician so I can't tell what a musician will find difficult or easy to play. But I have noticed that many, many musicians say his compositions are difficult but very rewarding to play. Even those who worked with him say they found it challenging and difficult to keep up with him.

I find it requires all of my brain merely to listen to his music. I can cook a complicated recipe or balance my checkbook or read instructions to a new device with Billy Joel or Mozart playing in the background, but not Frank Zappa. For him I must do nothing else and just listen. The only other musician who requires as much of my concentration to listen to is John Coltrane.
