I gave a homeless man $20 and told him that was the only time I was doing so. He smiled at me, and thanked me. :)

What was the funniest thing you've ever said?

Some friends of mine (Oh yes, there are some) were playing a video game. It was one of those criminal drive-around-the-city and shoot stuff games.

I was watching, and the vehicle on screen smacked over a fire hydrant, and therefore, sent a flurry of water flowing into the air.

This instantly made me think of how in the 1950s/1960's (when the video game was based), on a hot day, children would gather around fire hydrants that spewed water and such to play and stay cool.

So I said calmly, without really thinking about the outcome, "Let there be water for all the Mississippi children."

I didn't mean it in a racist way at all, but for some reason this "struck a chord" and the entire room just burst in some SERIOUS laughter. Really really long, hurt-ribs laughter.

I'm looking around with curious eyes, a small chuckle of confusion escaping me.

I still don't see why it was so hilarious to my friends.

EDIT: Whoops! Sorry for not asking a question! Way to go, RedHanrahan, on smoothing it out.

What was the funniest thing you've ever said?'

While struggling to make a decision about Rocky Horror costume one night an exasperated associate begged me to stop being so indecisive, I was a little drunk and puzzled responded 'I'm not indecisive [short confused pause]...am I?'

Do you crave solitude and feel totally okay about it?

I do, as I thrive on it. If I didn't get the solitude that I required, I wouldn't be on WP.

Do you want it to snow again?

None, I've left school. But if I was in the US I'd still be in highschool and in my "senior" year, sooooo grade 12 is that?

What year did you start school?

One - English. I tried learning Japanese once, but I gave up after anime stopped being my special interest.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Tim Burton. His films are my special interest. Alice in Wonderland in particular is my favorite.

Do you find it easier to "bond" with fictional characters rather than real people?

It depends on the character. I find it just as difficult to understand more realistic characters as I do real people.

Have you ever heard any music by Lily Allen? If so, what do you think of her music? (The latter question clearly does not apply if the answer to the first one is 'No'.)

Dunno, it was probably recently by a parent or sibling.

Did you have a lot of detentions in school?
