When there is a shadow, there is light. Otherwise it's just darkness, the absence of light.

I'm rereading Christine, but the book has lost its edge for me. Time to find a good series again...

I remember reading that, and how the novel and how the movie and book differed, never less one of many books that I recall clearly.

Best irony of all: I wanna be a spy. But eh, this is better in a realistic setting.

Because your bed doesn't like it when you leave him/her?

who knows? all I know is that getting old ain't for sissies. it was so easy to get up in the morning when I was your age. now it is quasi-torture. had a nightmare that disturbed my sleep and because I have a doc's appointment in a little bit I couldn't just fall back asleep and try to recover.

I hope your appointment goes well! Also, I wake up too easily.

if it is noises that awaken you, you could try using a big 20" box fan in the corner to generate a thick "brown noise" that masks a lot of external and internal noises, that is what I do.

It's not noise that gets me, it's the nightmares.

I usually don't. I just wake up and try to forget the unimaginable horrors of nightmare land. 8O
