Living on the mountains... Something I bugged my mom once. But she's against it thanks to myths, superstitions, and infamous landslide death news.

LOL Froya, when you have seen what I have seen and know what I know, I think most would be doomsday preppers. The world is falling in place for those who have the eyes to see, I can't even explain some of it. Currents events are more then coincidental. Its not just a little close, its pretty much playing out the way the bible said it would word per word. If you can't have faith in that when everything else is pretty dark then I don't know where else to find hope. Its 5 acres, little small but I can make it work. Its more then enough for a small private place and maybe even a bit of a personal ranch. I am thinking about burying a bus there, good shelter.

Take technological advancements alone, look over the last 150 years at life back then and its pretty unidentifiable by todays standards and it doesn't end there. Inequality is about where it needs to be and if people hear nothing else. Realize things get really really bad very very quickly after Israel declares their boundaries and rebuilds the temple and look at what they are saying. Action will follow and so will the end, I don't know what being in the mountains will do but I know I don't want to be anywhere else.

^I also fear it can get bad soon, but I don't think it has anything to do with a higher power (god, religion) as I don't belive in that. I think it's just us humans causing it all on our own.

Have you thought this through though, as it's a LOT to consider..

I have thought about isolating away from the world for my entire year in isolation. I would rather get ate by bear doing what I think God wants me to do rather then live isolated in the city. I am an engineer, its what I do, I know what I am doing (except the plumbing, not so clear on that). I don't need much in the way of technology anyway, God will provide, if I leave society I do it with God by my side. God will provide more then electricity if I move in faith.

It's not about the loudness. It's about the clarity!

I swear I'm not always like this.
Aside from not retaining my once sensory seeking status, it's probably a complication from having allergy rhinitis.

Watching Homeland is so f*****g annoying when they don't have subtitles. People who speak arabic or hebrew or spanish etc get to know whats going on during a scene but the rest of us don't.

There is too much crap to know for this test!! They are the insane ones if they think that anyone in the HUMAN population could possibly know every single piece of information that may show up on this test!! A supposed 10 minute practice test took me 26 minutes!! WTF! (and I don't usually say that) Crap.

How come when you read something in a mirror, the words are reversed but not upside down?
