This is basically what I was arrested for and caused my homelessness, my brother beat me and had me on the floor beating me and I tried to crawl away and I had shoes on. I ended up moving my leg to try and get away and since I had hit him in self defense he was also on the floor when I moved my leg my shoes dug into my brothers chest and it drew blood. The cops said that since his injuries were more severe then mine that I would be going to jail. They also refused to take any pictures of my wounds until I got in a hospital after several days had gone by to heal.

So basically I was attacked, arrested, and evicted for no reason one day out of the blue.

Oh and to add icing on the cake I trusted authority enough to call the police myself... wow...

I will never call the police in my life again, I'll take it in my own hands thanks.

shame on your brother. shame on those police.

^Shame won't help anyone, really. Forgiveness might. A lot of people don't know what true forgiveness is.

We are not on speaking terms and he has left the family completely. My parents have no idea where he is, he disappeared a few weeks ago and I figured he'll show up in prison again some where. My family is actually great out side of him, my dad is not understanding but other then that. My brother has broke bones, he has some kinda of hatred for me and its hard to explain on a public forum but I said something about him that was true but he hates me for it I think. My brother is insanely abusive person, straight up send you to the ER style abuse.

I am aware of it, this song is amazing if you know its background story. Its about a woman who lost her child to a DUI and forgave the driver.

dcj might feel better in the long run if he manages to forgive, but his brother and those police deserve negative consequences.

^^They deserve only love and peace and joy. Repaying negativity with negativity will only lead to more negativity.

I've been abused, though emotionally and somewhat verbally rather than physically.

Since the point of this thread is to say random things, here's mine: my feet smell. Either that, or...I need to change my clothes. Or it's the remains of my supper [gluten free tube noodles with tomato sauce and mushrooms]. Do mushrooms smell like feet?

Trying to put the sheets on my bed... Not a pretty sight.

Actually I do forgive my brother and I would like him to be a part of the family in a non abusive way but he never will. He didn't even say goodbye to me and just up and banned me on every type of social media. The fact I even had him on social media was an act of forgiveness.

^^No, it's fine. You can pm me if you ever need cheering up, since I've learned that posting in the Haven section only leads me to trying to help everyone simultaneously--and often inadvertently absorbing their emotions, making me depressed.
