Personally I would do better if someone just told me what not to do in a nice way. It would be better then trying to figure out social rules.
I'm the same.
Same but sometimes they do tell me to stop something and I do but then later on they get annoyed for my not doing the thing they wanted me to do.... because they want me to have a sense of when to do something and when not to do it. To me it just gives me a headache and makes me feel like I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't. Like I can't win. I do something and they tell me to stop... I stop doing it and then later on they asked me why I never do it anymore. They don't understand my all or nothing thinking but I don't understand how they expect me to mindread.
I want to please everyone except toxic people. My happiness comes from being liked but not by toxic people. I would rather be disliked by toxic people because at least then they will leave me alone. What's worst than being mistreated by someone who hates you? Being mistreated in the name of love. "I'm only trying to help you" says the hypothetical abuser. If they said "I'm trying to hurt you" I'd have escaped ages ago.
Anyways this is all hypothetical. And some people don't understand hypotheticals and that annoys me!
Like at the dinner table when I lived with my family I would say to my mom "if[insert emotionally charged end of sentence here]" and she'd react as if I was saying it was the actual case when it starrted with an "if". It was so frustrated to me I was like "I said if!"... and from an outside perspective out of context my anger and the fact I reacted like I thought she was stupid would seem completely inappropriate... but if you put it into the context of this kind of thing happening repeatedly when I can't even be hypothetical about something. I can't use the word"if" without an emotional charged reaction. What's the damn point in the word "if" and hypotheticals
if it's not taken hypothetically? Sigh.
