The solutions I seek are... Something permanent. Something that isn't for short terms or every-encounter basis.

So instead of acting, it's the skill and intuition.
Instead of covering my ears or avoiding triggers, I absorb it.
Instead of giving myself a list, or forcing or conditioning myself, I have to gain 'momentum'

No, I don't make the best of things. No I don't want ignoring or toughing things out when I'm internally cringing. Forget medications, forget accommodations, forget the NEEDS-- that's what I want.

That's what I seek to deal autism-- to be a non-sufferer. This has nothing to do with becoming NT or being strong.
But just because I don't suffer from it, that doesn't make me less autistic. Even if there's no anxiety or sensory overload, there's still... Some difference. Some distortions... Still an odd-out... It just doesn't bother me much.
I don't wanna 'cope'. I don't wanna pretend that I'm strong or can keep up with things.

I really wanna pass my knowledge somehow... But my knowledge is NON-VERBAL THOUGHTS and I haven't able to translate it to explicit/verbal terms. And I haven't found any aspie who tries the same.
Granted, it's very hard to explain in words. This is something internal, not external. This isn't something that can be SHOWN. So it can't be drawn. And descriptions are too complex.

Yup, have the same issue myself, my thoughts are like huge bubble of intense information hitting me al at once and then i have to some how translate that into everyday language, its like having to learn a new language over and over again, and by the time i have managed to translate enough in my mind to put into words, my mind is rushing so far ahead when i do try and speak it can come out jumbled. Or when someone mentions something of interest. Its like the synapses gets really excited and i cant get things out fast enough and often it caused me to go mind blank or my speech cant keep up with my thoughts...Then add on top of that trying to cope in a situation of more than one person and also dealing with the overwhelm and trying to keep it together... Aspies are said not to be able to multitask, but i think many are naturally multitasking, emotions the situation, translating thoughts etc etc, that theres no room to multitask in the real world! hehe.. As you have mentioned when some ask to explain what its like, there are no real words i can translate for them to understand, i think only those that experience this constantly have a mutual respect for those in the same mind situation... That's the best way i can describe it :)

Ps, also love how quoting you gives an auto translation on morse code! hehe, dont know if alex added that as a plugin or its standard for css style forums.

PPS. For those that want to hear the morse code as audio and watch translation in realtime, the link below will do just that :)

Audio and real time translation of the message in Morse code

I wish someone discover a cure for flu already. I feel so ill right now! :(

My doctor gave me "symptomatic relief" - Gravol (Dramamine), Tylenol, Benadryl. It wasn't a cure but it was enough relief to let me sleep and eat a bit. I still have the flu but I'm up and around, as opposed to flat on my back.

Also if your throat bothers you, you could gargle with salt & warm water.

My best wishes for your health!

I do everything with electronics but program, I can write some code and even wrote a very simple operating system which was more of bootloader with a few programs then an actually kernel. However, I am not a programmer. I understand programming concepts but I am not a programmer. I cannot do complex GUIs or or work with C++ templates. If its more then a if else statement and a few variables I am lost without looking up stuff. I can do it if I wanted to but I totally don't want to, its mind numbing after a few hours.

I do compile code a regular bases though,

You're more of a programmer than me. O_O What did you program an OS for?

Hooray for Sertraline withdrawals

Nowhere near as bad as Seroquel ones, though

I'm supposed to change the kitty litter every Thursday. But I forgot and today is Sunday. In the bathroom, I saw that the cat had taken a plastic bag and carefully spread it over the top of the kitty litter, completely covering it. Message received.
