the burning at the stake may represent anger at feeling disenfranchised by people and society in general, a feeling of victimization at the hands of large hostile forces. To dream that you are torturing someone or see others being tortured suggests that you are punishing yourself for your own negative or bad habits. You are projecting yourself onto the person being tortured. Consider the symbolism of who is being tortured. Alternatively, the dream indicates repressed feelings of revenge which you are not able to act on in your waking life.

I couldn't tell which film director everyone took turns waterboarding in my dream, but I could tell it was a white guy.

I had a dream in which a group of RPG heroes were climbing a gigantic tower to face the final boss. They got to the top, and everything was golden, as if they had to climb up a massive pile of gold. Then a vampire appeared out of nowhere and tried to seduce the main hero, but the hero's love interest got extremely angry. Before they could fight, a flying golden train suddenly fell apart and crushed the vampire and the final boss, and everyone fell down to the bottom of the tower. The heroes survived somehow.
Any ideas?

Since I have this ongoing nightmare issue I had some dream that my mother died. For some reason, whenever I have nightmares about people I know, it is always exclusively my mother. I don't even dislike the woman !

I only remember the 2nd half of the dream but here goes- I was on a mountaintop with actor Ryan O'Neil and his female companion [can't remember the name of the actress] and they were improbably driving an old gray Austin Healey automobile, that they somehow managed to cram in two wooden rocking chairs with pillows on them, into the back seat. they invited me and my mother and a few other folks inside, and we went FLYING through the air, the car somehow became airborne, and we tumbled loop-de-loop and plummeted backwards and bounced off of things and I was sure we were gonna crunch big-time, I was white as a sheet and bracing for impact when somehow we ended up flying over a coastal airport and we landed. I stumbled out of the car and noticed it sprouted two propellers behind it and stubby wings on either side. the actor badmouthed me for being a coward and I spit curses back at him. I walked along the beach for a while, which was crowded with people. then next thing I knew it was at night and I was for some unknown reason at Ryan O'Neil's mansion which had a fancy invisible sound system, all I found was a large set of subwoofers that pounded out the bass, the other speakers were hidden. the sound quality was sterling. the house lights were dimmed and I wandered from room to room until I ended up in a guest room where sitting on a couch was some woman who was a composite of several women I knew in waking life. we discussed why Ryan behaved the way he did. then I awoke. for a long time after I awoke I was angry.

I was dreaming that my NT girlfriend was talking to my mom and my mom was very skeptical of my relationship with her. My NT girlfriend and I took turns explaining how we know each other, but my mom showed no sign of accepting what we were telling her. Then the dream cut to my house where my NT girlfriend was talking to my sister and they managed to get along just fine. The dream then ended with my mom dressed like a private detective chasing after me and my GF with my sister riding a motorcycle, shouting at my mom to stop.

In reality, I do want my family to be acquainted with my lady and I am willing to wait until whenever my girlfriend is ready to visit. Whenever she leaves work {she is a waitress at an upscale restaurant close to my school}, she is always tired, so she'll visit my house whenever she has a day off from work.

I dreamt [a bit of memory coming back] that I was sitting in some kind of waiting room and these medical professionals were sitting around chewing the fat, with a big screen tv on the wall playing the game show "jeopardy" and some people were answering the questions out loud in the waiting room. one of the doctors were illustrating on a huge [size of a poster] web tablet a type of proposed minor surgery procedure to perform in 3rd world countries, involving the implantation of a "doc in a chip" lozenge [looked like a white aspirin pill] implanted in the medical subject's buttocks with this bulky scanner device, big, square and black, the size of a a two by four piece of wood. one of the docs congratulated me on my correct jeopardy answer.

From reading your post and judging by which acute angle your lying in, I'd say events have frustrated you long out of your mind, and you want to give peace a chance as well as giving some back.. and it probably means the likelihood at all the break-up of underfunded equipment down the next corridor might pave the way to a future with no age or broken ego attached. All these minor ops you're discussing lately, will also affect me at some stage down the line, so maybe we should both cross that road when we get there.

Whether this includes a game of double jeopardy or lasting Game of Thrones I don't know. 8O

never saw game of thrones so I am clueless about that. double-jeopardy [is that on the jeopardy game show?] sounds stressful. and I don't know anything about lying at an acute angle, can you illuminate that for me? :) what is the "underfunded equipment down the next corridor"? events on earth are inducers of "long suffering" [in a biblical sense] IMHO.

Is it weird that because I don't have or remember dreams of my own and the only one I CAN remember was when I was seven and I was hanging off of a building and my fingers slipped... so instead of dwelling on my one dream that I horrifyingly remember. I like to listen to others dreams... makes me feel better.

Neither have I honey, but the angle is often the correct anecdote when confirming anything. 8)
