Got Anything Random To Say
Same here. Being yourself is fun. I'd rather have fun than be normal
If only there were more people whom would not continue to see us as defective or diseased but, simply human beings that operate on a different kind like the difference between Windows and other operating systems out there which, there are many.
I dig other operating systems, the more unique the better. Arch Linux is a good friend and is very loyal, it has issues but nothing a little love can't fix, not much unlike Autism.

The world would be a much nicer place. The next time I have a breakdown, I'm going to take a break from my family until I'm better and if there's a birthday or holiday during that break, I'll visit my family for that day and spend the night, than it will be back home the next day. Every time I've had a breakdown, I was verbally abused by my mum, so I'll be doing things differently next time. I'm doing a lot better now.

I'll just keep this simplified as best, All people on the spectrum are not mirror images of another, in that we're not all a bunch of teenage, geeky males. Now, there might be some persons that might have such qualities but, it's absurd to think all autistic people are that way though.

Purely interest. And self taught. NEVER done a course. I know TCP/IP and can do network programming under UNIX and Windows (sockets programming TCP/UDP) all self taught.
I can build/repair computers and have been doing so since the Z80 chip came out on the market for the general public.
I can program/code in many different languages including Assembly, machine code, C/C++, JAVA, COBOL, LISP, (X)HTML, CSS, ASP, PERL, BASH, CSH (etc.) scripting languages, BASIC, VB, VB .Net, VBA, VBS, Delphi, and a lot of other languages people don't care about any more.
All Self Taught
I can also setup, administer, maintain and repair UNIX/Winblows servers. All Self Taught
What can I say? It was a Special Interest. I even got into and learned all about the personal lives of those who brought the Internet into being (Vinton Cerf, Bob Kahn & Jon Postel (RIP))
When I get a Special Interest, I just go ALL OUT!!

My half hearted comparison between autism and an operating system wasn't meant to imply that this is not true just so you know.
I do love Arch Linux though.

That definitely shows how one's dedication to your special interesting can be most helpful.
The only thing I can do is to assemble a computer system from parts readily accessible to me, from there installing any operating regardless and making any necessary tweaks to maintain/improve security. However, this is all of amateur nature though, for I don't do this as an occupation. Most of what I learned came from my experience using Commodore64 computer as well, learning how to use the internet and all software related tools in the early days.

I am not defective or diseased. I am extremely high functioning.
The fact that I cope so well in an NT world is a testament to that. What NT's take for granted, I've had to learn, to survive.
They do it by instinct. I do it by intelligence, memory, trial and error, learn from errors. It has taken a long time but little by little, I've learned what's acceptable to say and do and I've made a mental inventory on what is acceptable to say and do. It's not easy because the rules on what you can say and do change with the different situations/scenarios you find yourself in and you've got to recognise those situations and respond appropriately.
I can do it but it's exhausting and I need a lot of time alone to decompress after doing it.
Is it any wonder why I've always loved being by myself? It's FAR more easy!

I need to
1. Download the Arch Linux Repository.
2. Reinstall Arch Linux on my gaming Desktop (Going from KDE to Awesome).
3. Reinstall Windows 7 in Qemu.
4. Test if Message Signaled Interrupts are better in a virtual Windows 7 environment vs Windows 10.
I need to get busy if I want to ever play newer PC games again but frankly the PSP and Wii have entertained me lately.
I am becoming a... console user

Slingshots don't expect you to misshape the gossip-singed rubble stumbling amidst the slanted peaks of a pruned cactus-shard, it is only meaningful if you aim for the next street and hope for a falling mugshot with a starless bandit leering out and shaking a fistful of the stones you assumed you were prepared to launch into the sky full of randomness.
