No, I haven't read 1984 yet either. I know it's a classic.

Curtains are stupid. I hate them. Blinds? Absolutely yes. Necessary. Curtains? Superfluous nonsense. Hate. They just get in the way always.

I agree I don't care for curtains as, I have blinds instead

Sorry I disagree I love curtains and drapes they make your home nice and homey, I hate those verticle blinds that don't shut the light out and after a while they come apart.
The only blinds I like are the outside blinds.

I'm shapeshifter-ish: many creatures, many experiences, many lives.

I thought of adding a blob of skincream to a tissue in order to stop a spider from escaping it. Works well.

Aye,

I can't tell if physical pain is worse then mental pain or depression, I have felt despair on both fronts and both fronts can be equally as unforgiving but you don't tend to remember physical pain, even when its at an unbearable level and when it goes beyond that, it doesn't really go beyond that cause you enter shock or for me straight up praying to Jesus. With emotional depression the pain is longer lasting, it can almost be just as intense and it last longer.

I think depression can be worse then being in a lot of pain.

I have a raging QVC addiction. I had to take the app off of my phone. It's probably because I'm stressed and have no other outlet of stress relief - no alcohol and no exercise after I hurt my shoulder. I'm a mess.

DCJ, I remember physical pain, although unlike physical pain, I can feel past emotions over again.

NurseAngela, good for you, removing the app. Since the holidays are coming, do you think you can refocus that shopping urge into enjoying buying gifts for others?

I have a sort of love-hate relationship with gift-giving. I put off the shopping, I stress about whether I'll be able to find something awesome, but then I usually feel good about what I picked, enjoying watching the person open it.

Don't try the Walkers cheese toastie & worcester sauce flavour. They're disgusting.
