Was it at least refrigerated?...I tend to keep my iced tea chill by keeping it in the fridge. the trouble is putting ice cubes would keep it cool longer, but I usually pour a glass with no ice from the fridge and then wait too long to drink it and then by 4 in the afternoon after being poured at 9 in the morning I realize the tea is probably not still good any longer cause I let it warm up for 4 hours. And have to dump it out to get a new glass.

I did find though they have cold water brew ice tea bags that you can just let it sit for a few minutes, and dunk and shake the tea bags around in the container your brewing in and its ready in around 5 minutes, not sure if they have the cold brew tea around where you live but I have it here and It does still make a nice tea, its just quicker than boiling and mixing with cold water or trying to make sun tea by using the sun to brew the tea by letting it sit out in the sun till it gets a darker color.

Also, I am a tea addict, ha ha, good thing I wasn't around in the revolutionary war....I may have been a British loyalist just for the tea. I mean I can't help being a bit sad for the tea that was wasted during that conflict.

That's the exact way that my aunt makes Iced Tea. I remember when I was 13 and my family went to visit my and, uncle and cousins. That was the best iced tea I've ever tasted.
