1. I am not going to say my real name, but I made up a fake internet name to go on sites and stuff and that is Nali Mikely because Nali just sounds pretty (nah-lee) and likely sounds like a common last name.

2. I had surgery when I was 4 years old, they had to take out my eyeballs and use tools to work on them.

3. I am a lacto-vegetarian, my mom says it will ruin my social life (duh) but it is part of me and I have been vegetarian for almost half my life now.

4. I have fallen off a 20 foot cliff, almost fallen off a 100 foot cliff, been 6 inches away from a speeding car, been caught in a riptide in the ocean, and almost drowned at a water park......

5. I LOVE to run, I have been in cross-country (xc) since 9th grade and all throughout HS, I have been in track from 9th-11th grade, I am training for a marathon now, I have run a half marathon in 9th grade, and a few 10ks......If you have any questions about running, don't hesitate to ask me!

6. I have lived on both sides of the united states.

7. I was diagnosed with HFA when I was 12, language problems as a baby, ADD in 1st grade, and ADHD in 2nd grade.

8. I love drawing, and will probably always try to find ways to doodle, thought I could have been really good and won prizes, I was only able to take 1 art class in HS until they yanked that opportunity from me......lame.

9. I don't care about what band is popular, or if it has a good rhythm, I care if it has good words and sounds nice, and doesn't swear.

10. I love to talk and ask questions.

1. I am very prone to headaches. (Got one now.)
2. I take Sertraline (an anti-depressant) for anxiety, the tablets are excellent and I can actually go out on my own again now.
3. One of my ambitions in life is to look after or play with a baby ape of any sort, like in a sanctuary or something.
4. I would totally give up modern city life and go live in an indigenous tribe somewhere remote if I didn't love the internet so much (the internet is the only thing that keeps me here.)
5. I really really want dreadlocks, but have never gone through with it. Once my hair grows longer I will.
6. Although I'm not girly at all I love putting colourful eyeshadow on and creating my own little combinations, I consider my face to be a blank canvas I can be creative with. So I'm hardly ever seen wearing "natural" looking make-up, it's always bold colours.
7. I wish my hair was ginger.
8. I have flat feet.
9. I get on better with boys than girls.
10. I am obsessed with dreams and describe mine in minute detail and hate to miss any parts out.

Same here!! ! (Family rule) Why don't you?

3. i love miniature things. sometimes i let out a SQUEEEEE when i see something particularly small or adorable, and apparently the sound upsets people's ears.

I do that too, except I'll say AWWWWWW, especially if it a puppy or something like that

Quote:
10. I like how rock music allows musicians the freedom of talking about whatever you want. With pop music, it has to be about certain topics to make it on the radio.

Except people don't exercise that freedom! There are just WAY too many love songs in the world.

Quote:
i like to run at 6am.

I used to have to run that early for sports, but now I run at night. Why do you like the mornings?

Quote:
4. I would totally give up modern city life and go live in an indigenous tribe somewhere remote if I didn't love the internet so much

I would move to a small town instead, near the mountains, but I love the internet WAY too much also

Quote:
7. I have flat feet.

Me too, and it interrupts my running sometimes....annoying!

Quote:
9. I still have a lingering fear that something awful will happen to me if I'm in the same room as a toilet when it flushes

I've actually had something bad happen to me, it sprayed me, EW, that was a bad day, so your fears are pretty rational.

Quote:
9. I'm a morning person. I wake up when the sun rises whether i want too or not

I am the EXACT opposite, morning comes and I seriously have to drag myself out of bed, and the nigh comes, and I never want to go to sleep. Oddly enough I am this way on camping trips though (only exception)

Quote:
I love chocolate and sweets. My favourite was cadbury caramilk, but they don't make it any more sadly.

Try Lindor Truffles, they. will. make. your. life. that. much. better.

2. I get bored all the time, no matter what I'm doing. I sometimes even get bored when I'm on WP.

I do too, that is why I always try and challenge myself with new things.

Quote:
9. I do not drive an automible or a bike because I day dream so much that I have rode my bike into parked cars and pedestrians. Can you imagine the horrors of me behind the wheel of a car?

Though I don't drive, I do ride my bike, and i have run over people twice (not seriously), run into a pole (full speed), and wiped out.....yea, I scare myself, it is a good thing I am not in a car.

What color?! !! Mine are half brown and half green (and not hazel, there IS a difference)

10. I tend to be passive

You are also my opposite because I am REALLY out-spoken. Is it because you don't care, or do you not feel any reason there?

Quote:
10. I have a genetic heart defect that shortens my life significantly and means I may need surgery someday. When I found out, I started valuing life, people & love much more, and trying my best to experience the best life has to offer, and take the hard parts in stride

That's so sad!! ! At least you found the one that you love so you can spend as much time together as you can!

8. I can do advanced calculus, yet can't count change or tell time on an analog clock. I didn't learn to tie my shoes til I was 10.

I am learning precalc, I can count but I can't do math in my head, and I tie my shoes with bunny ears still.

NO WAY! I..........am a female too. Woooooooooo. Cooooooooooool.
(If I creeped you out, sorry, I just felt like being really random, haha)

Come on over. :)

Maybe we can meet in October. I'm planning a trip to London and hope to meet Laz and perhaps others who might agree to come. Is Manchester far from London?

Manchester is 200 miles from London, however October is more than enough notice for me to make it there, and it's my birthplace. I'd like to meet Laz too

The drug often causes sexual problems in men (e.g. impotence, ejaculation difficulties).
In about 5% of patients, it can instead cause inadvertent orgasms when yawning.

Thank god you're not a man, or perhaps not.....

Meanwhile heres my 10 lesser known facts:

1) I was once an altar boy and sang in the church choir, not my choice. I got thrown out for *alleged* misuse of altar wine, and having views contrary to the christian doctrine.
2) I once played the part of the lion in a primary school production of The Wizard Of Oz.
3) I once walked naked through the drive through of a Hungry Jacks (its a burger joint)...its never advisable to dare me to do anything. Sadly i was not served with a smile as promised.
4) I love cats to the exclusion of all other species
5) I was once a soldier
6) Ive read enough books in my life for 3 or 4 people. I devour them.
7) Ive been clinically dead 3 times
8 ) I have a hereditary heart condition - without medication my heart rate is 6 times the normal :)
9) I have never had a dream
10) I like to walk long distances and just zone out, its about the only time i truly relax.

All, really. It depends on the lighting and what I happen to be wearing Brown seems to be the most common, next to violet.

Here's ten more facts about myself.

1. My middle name is Edward, after my paternal grandfather, who passed away five or six years before I was born.

2. To date, I have two tattoos: one of Jack Skellington on my left arm and another of a raven on my right arm. I got the raven tattoo as homage to Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven.

3. I'm fascinated by the history of fashion, especially women's fashion.

4. One very un-aspyish trait that I have is that I really like being touched. Whenever people touch me, it gives me these pleasurable tingling sensations.

5. I tend to be highly critical of the state of American society.

6. I currently don't drive, and if I choose to not learn how to drive in the future, then I'll probably have to move to one of the neighboring cities, because the city I currently live in does not have public transportation and is not pedestrian friendly.

7. Japan is high on my list of countries I'd like to visit someday. I'd also like to travel across Europe and South America.

8. I'm fascinated by pop culture, both contemporary and retro.

9. I like to read textbooks, dictionaries, almanacs, and other factual books. I also like to look at maps.

10. If and when I get my own apartment, I'd like to decorate it with all kinds of exotic and fun things, such as figurines, Japanese artifacts, European-style cuckoo clocks, and dream catchers.

I'm fine with buses and trains. And I don't have enough money to afford driving classes, a car, petrol etc. If I used anyone else's car, I would be afraid of crashing it.

1. I used to tell people my mother was dead before she was, just so they didn't ask about her or think I was a troubled/awful person for excluding her from my life.

2. I am a certified herbalist. The certification is crap, all these programs are. My validity comes from 2 years of apprenticing under my mother-in-law who was an effective herbalist for 45 years. I only practice sparingly because I'm a strong advocate of modern medicine for most things and using natural medicine for easier problems or as a secondary treatment.

3. I'm a member of a multi-denominational church order for women that focuses on service and prayer. We do no fundraising. I thought about joining a year before I did. I'm glad I joined. I wish there were younger women involved in our chapter. I'm the youngest one. I'm thinking about restarting a junior chapter (one used to exist) (and I'd be put in charge of it) but I don't want to overstep my bounds because, not only am I youngest but I'm also the newest.

4. Post-It notes are made of pure awesome and magic.

5. People always steal my pen. I have no idea why. If I have a pen, someone will take it. I used to have an expensive pen and someone I worked with took it from my desk. Then she made fun of me because I retrieved it from her by politely asking for it back. But even when I have a basic Bic, it disappears.

6. I have an anxiety attack when I look at pictures of my kids when they were younger than they are now, especially my oldest. My old therapist said it was the thanatophobia but there's guilt there, too. I always feel like I could have done things better and I get so sad because this is something I cannot redo. My oldest has no idea I feel this way and, seriously, he's pretty secure and happy. I shouldn't feel bad. But when I look at those pictures, I do. Those pictures sit about five feet to the right, within an album on a bookshelf.

7. I've assisted in 3 exorcisms and participated in 50-some paranormal investigations. I'm not associated with a group now (not enough time) but, when the moment does present itself, I'll walk through a cemetery with a digital recorder and camera. I don't really care if ghosts are real or not. I've had enough experiences that couldn't be rationalized, despite my extensive attempts, so I'll believe they exist until something happens that makes me not believe.

8. My husband reads paperbacks by Michael Connelly and John Grisham. I don't understand how he manages it. Very seldom can I get into fiction. I really like to read non-fiction. There's something very enjoyable about a memoir because it was a person's life and heart right there on the page. When I read Brett Butler's "Knee Deep In Paradise" it freaked me out because I was in an abusive marriage at that time and reading about her former abusive marriage - and that her ex-husband had done to her some of the stuff my ex-husband was doing to me - it was a lot to digest. Let's call it one of the first major clues that starting waking me up.

9. I'm very picky about movies. I won't just watch anything. My husband is so easy-going. He'll watch a movie just to be with me. I wish I could do that for him. He tried so hard to find a movie on Netflix we both could watch and I finally told him to forget it and just watch Salt because I knew he really wanted to see it. Most of the movies I watch are movies I've already seen. I have to be in a particular mood to watch a movie I haven't seen before.

10. I'll frame the kids' artwork and hang it on the wall. They do some pretty awesome stuff. I just love what they create. When people aren't told that kids did it, they think it's artwork done by professional artists. It really makes the kids feel good when someone asks, "Where did you get this? Is this from that painter at Fisherman's Village?" lol

1. I collect random stuff I find (eg. coins, crab claws, rocks, bits of leaf or twig, old letters), and put it in a jar labeled "Fantasies" that sits on my desk at my parents house.

2. I have sung in a choir at the AFL Grand Final with Guy Sebastian, The Boy From Oz production with Hugh Jackman, and at Government House for Quentin Bryce (she gave me a cute kiss badge and a sweet little card).

3. I written several hundred poems over several years and have been compiling them in a word document on my computer in the hope of eventual publication, and I have written an album's worth of original songs for voice and piano.

4. I like to create mixed media paintings with anything I can get my hands on, including my own blood.

5. I have a lot of friends and acquaintances from diverse walks of life.

6. I secretly harbour an ambition to turn full out goth (black hair with blue streaks, black and metal clothes, etc) except also with strong primary colours also, but in real life I couldn't look less like a goth.

7. I spoke at a Tony Atwood presentation once without any preparation (I decided to speak last minute)... unfortunately it was also recorded, and I still wince a little whenever I think back on it. I am involved in Asperger groups in Brisbane.

8. My greatest ambition is for my life to mean something - I want to do something/s to change other peoples lives for the better/improve other peoples lives. I am super interested in people. I love people.

9. I'm obsessed with books; I used to practically live in libraries throughout high school, and I collect books like a fanatic and reread the best ones over and over again.

10. One of my dreams is to become a hermit or traveling nomad and write fantasy series'.
