Talk about obsessions! You've really dedicated your life to those fine buses.

I remember back to when I was like 12 years old. It was my first(and so far, only) visit to London. And of course I had to take a ride with those buses as you won't find them anywhere else in this world.

'T was a nice ride.

Routemastered London lives on, in my Heart, Mind and Soul and that's all that matters.

However, it blows me away how I've gone from being obsessed with Victorian London, to being obsessed with the London Routemaster Era, in less than a day. Bloody vey! That's a 100 year leap!

I'm a Cockney trapped in a Canadian body, and that's why I'm still greiving the demise of my beloved Routemasters. I'm dropping the Canada Cross that I've forced myself to bear, due to my upbringning. I'll be celebrating my Cockneyfied differences, instead. I do get a little carried away with me Buses, around here, don't I? :wink:

May you take some comfort in knowing the spirit of the Routemaster is alive and well in Austin, Texas, USA. When I was in high school we took a family trip to England where I had the pleasure of riding a real one and bought this little routie. It now lives on a shelf in my study.

I will never give my Routemaster obsession up. Maybe for the December of 2007, I might, in order to sail through the month, more smoothly. I'll pick it up again, on January 1st, 2008. However I do need more interests. :wink:

Certian Kinks songs bring images of Routemasters into my Mind, and it feels like a natural High, when that happens.
