One thing I've noticed I do occasionally is, if I'm telling someone something, I quite often assume they know stuff, like background information when, if I think about it, I know they have no way of knowing it. They get confused, misunderstand what I'm saying because they don't have the information I assume they know, even though, if I think about it, I know they couldn't know. You know?

There's not a lot in life you can do or say that really impresses anyone. Unless you be rude to them and then, EVERYONE notices you - but not in a good way.

When I was young, I was very different. I got on better with adults. They used to think I was different and smart. I liked the attention but when I grew up, I turned into just another ordinary person and no one even pays any attention to me, let alone be impressed with me. Although, I've got to admit, at work, I've certainly opened a few eyes with my programming ability.

I don't like to admit it but I do like attention. That is, good attention.

I think some people are so desperate for attention, they're even prepared to receive bad attention because that's all they can get and bad attention is so easy to achieve.

I guess they think any attention is better than no attention. At least, people are acknowledging that they exist.

Life is sad.

You certainly seem to be enjoying my thread, Cockney Schultz :)

I enjoy having you here. I like the company.

Removed. I didn't realize how gory that scene was.

Hey ImAnAspie whats up?

This is like a random discussion where you are the boss

Not at all.

I made this thread purely for myself - purely for my own entertainment but anyone's free to join in - if they care to stick around. If they don't, well see the original post. I like company though.

I made it so I could record my thoughts, favourite music, pictures - I don't mind repeating stuff and I can do it without bothering anyone else.

:D

Ah sorry for the misunderstanding,

What kinda media do you prefer to entertain yourself with? TV? Movies? Videos? Books? Audio CDs? etc?

Reading books, Kindle, Internet, programming. That sort of stuff. I basically live under a rock!

I don't own a TV. I don't listen to the radio. I don't even own a radio. I don't read newspapers. I don't listen to or read the news.

Quite often, I get into work and people start talking to me about something big that went on in the world and I'm like, "What? I didn't hear about that!" and they give me strange looks like, "How could you not know about that?!"

Expressions like this are rather hard to mistake! and I see them a lot!

I like a few select movies I'll watch over and over. My favourites.

I don't own CD's. All of my music and movies are on my RAID.

That was part of my plan as well. Sometimes, I felt guilty because I felt I was dominating Random and I wasn't happy about that so I decided to make up my own thread where I could do, say and post whatever and whenever I like without bothering other people.
