The bottom photo is of a painting made by one of our local artists. It was painted on
the rock wall near the north end of the Howard Tunnel on the York Heritage Rail-Trail.

It is, yes. I took that picture from the ferry between Seattle and Bainbridge island. It's a huge mountain; it was about 70 miles away there. The picture below I took from the slopes of Mt. Rainier, looking south, away from the top of the mountain (which was covered in clouds at the time).
