I had a much less fancy version of that, and it typed just like a modern PC keyboard.

It types pretty well, and I can't think of any complaints about the typewriter tbh, I am completely satisfied about it!

Yeah, that looks 80's to me. I have an 80's era computer keyboard with the Din-5 connector plug, and the layout and design of the keys remind me of it.

A couple of years ago I had picked a new old stock package of two Smith Corona typewriter correctable ribbons to sell online. Looking at the photos from the listing they would have been compatible with this model. Unfortunately those are long gone.

One of the things that I could tell it was 80's was because of the typography of the logo.

The 80's had some cool stuff. I guess that rubbed off on me because I drive an 80's car. Plus I have a lot of emblems and dealer sales brochures from 80's era cars and trucks.

Lol, I agree, the 1980's was an interesting time for technology.

So were the 90's in my opinion. It was a nearly perfect blend of traditional tried & true tech with the innovations of the future. Plus that's when the computer started to revolutionize every aspect of life.

some of the most interesting loudspeakers came out in the 1980s such as the Polk SDA series, the AR MGC-1A "Magic Speaker," and the DBX model 1/1A.

I've been enjoying a vintage tv series,Barney Miller.Such a good show.

I would love to hop into the WABAC machine and go to a Safeway store in 1969, and sample the wares.

I'd get into that machine,go back,and tell myself do not remove the Star Trek action figures out of the packaging.

i'd go back to 1973, buy a Nakamichi 1000 recording deck, then give it to my 1973 self as a Christmas present under the tree, with the tag, "from a distant admirer."

I'd go back to the early 90's and get some Super Mario and Pokemon games and never open them. Heck, lets throw in a Gameboy while we're at it.

Pokémon was late '90s.

Early-mid '90s, go back to when stores were selling stockpiles of the model 2 NES for cheap.

Or maybe EarthBound, I've heard rumors that those met a similar fate. Heck, even at full price you'd still be making money.
