One thing I know about Christmas in Australia is that there won't be any snow because Christmas is in the summer there. Then again, even in the US there's many places that never snow on Christmas. I roll my eyes whenever they show it snowing on Christmas in California or Florida - like that will ever happen!
Christmas is still Christmas with or without snow. Suck it up, Bono and Bob Geldof.
On the other hand, Christmas in Australia is perfect for barbecues!
Fake snow in both Cali and Floridamanland thanks to movie productions. :p
While I can't recall ever bbq-ing On Christmas Day, it's plenty warm enough here for it. I typically bbq year round. It's only been a couple times during some cold snaps that it's been difficult to bbq because it's been so cold that propane stays liquified and barely gases off enough to light the bbq.. that once or twice I couldn't really get the bbq to heat up and abandoned the idea. But being in the one spot in Canada that doesn't get a deep freeze over the Winter, that's rare and for the most part there's no problem bbq'ing every month of the year.
It's really quite warm and mild this winter, so could bbq any day. Patio has a cover over it so it doesn't even matter if it's pissing rain.
