Well

It's a deep story

Basically, (for a change)

To be brief (a future change)

These Really aren't My Shoes exactly

They were borrowed / acquired / procured,

from an acquaintance, (opposed to an accomplice)

I thought it would be cute, however, I feel like I over stepped

I am not the type to purposely disrespect or walk all over others boundaries

Yet coincidentally, these occurrences do frequently appear and form a life of their own

So, without any further doodoo, like my debut, they are hereby withdrew, before any misconstrue

I don't have any pics, but mine are just white tennis shoes with Velcro, that I bought at Wal-Mart. Nothing to write home about.

I just bought a new pair.
My other pair were unfortunately whizzed on by a careless kid. :(

They're nice and comfy and they got sole....:P

Puma's Esito. Very very comfortables, I love them! :D
With the low heel and thin sole, you feel more stable, and feel like walking on socks.
Also something about the low heel it seems is good for the knees.

Docker's Excelar. Also very comfortables. I don't like to wear shoes, but these ones are so good from time to time I wear them for days :D

but a good wash and good as ever.

which got me thinking about the guy that dumps them after 3 months, can't he just wash them if he's so worried about "germs"?

I think it's a waste of money, specially if they cost US$100, but to each his own.
I was being too lazy to find the poster (ImTheGuyThatDidThat) =P

Yep, to each his own. Um, after three months I start to like my shoes even better to be honest. More my own shape and a little more character is added, so to say, after walking around on them that long.

But hey, I nearly always buy good quality shoes, (a bit like the leather shoes you posted on this page but I prefer half high.... just above the ankle), and those last for over a year sometimes. With a bit of care even longer.

Exactly my thoughts, they start to get your shape.

btw, since I've been hating all my life leather shoes (except the ones I got), which ones do you recommend?
I'd like some Doc Martens (I used a pair from a friend once, loved them), but can't find some serious ones...

I favour a few but I'm not really bonded to one brand or something. And shoes are a very very personal thing I think.... but for instance I like 'Lloyd' shoes, um, some of them that is. Sounds very English but the brand is German and they make good quality stuff, fairly priced and like stated, some are beautiful as well. 'Doc Martens' have nice ones also but have a lot of boot like shoes....

I tend to like a Dutch brand also but they are quite expensive. 'Van Bommel' or nowadays nephew 'Floris van Bommel' make real stylish shoes. 'Timberland' have cool leather shoes also but they are maybe a bit more casual or outdoorish. Apart from the somewhat faggoty style, do the Italian make some cool shoes as well.

I don't know, CL, it's too much of a personal thing.... to each his/her own thing but I like lashed shoes made out of leather, broad healed, dark coloured, not bling-bling shining, um, styleful ones. But you are in the design world (midst), you probably have a keen eye for beauty and style.... so, probably I cannot really help you here.
