Today I realized that I have been on a new web forum for three days and it is still good. That made me very happy! That is a very big deal for me. For years I have been looking for a forum to call home, surfing for hours each day just looking for somewhere I fit in. And I am always disappointed. Time and again I find somewhere that seems good, but by day three I find I am alone again. Either:
(a) the forum is dead (very few new posts)
(b) or shallow (they say the right things but have no depth, it's all words)
(c) or narrow (just the same old topics repeated)
(d) or cold/nasty (if you say anything that does not fit in they attack you)
(e) or too narrow (only interested in one topic)
(f) or really for a different group (e.g. the title was misleading)
(g) or extremely NT ("let's have another thread about our girlfriends and parties! Yay!")

But this new forum is different. After three days I still feel at home. I really really hope this continues.

The forum? WrongPlanet.

Finding out the release date of the Tim Burton adaptation of Dark Shadows - May 11th 2012! :D :bounce: And another Burton film, Frankenweenie, is coming out October 5th of the same year! 2012 will be a glorious year for me and my fellow Burtonites!

I bought myself a pull up bar, today! :D

I'm going to do assisted pull ups for a while because 250 lbs is a lot to pull up unassisted. As I lose weight, I'll be attempting to do a few unassisted pull ups, both ways. It's pea green. One of my favourite colours.

1. I'm feeling a LOT better since I used butter instead of vegetable oil (maybe the oil has soy?) for something I made today.

2. I'm baking peanut butter cookies (for my sister and her boyfriend), and a Whose Line episode is on. They were just singing to a baker.
