I don't know how my mum makes it not bland, but she does. Mmm, what kind of Chinese?

Work was OK and busy. I got some things finished and looks like I'll be doing bug fixing tomorrow. Oh, one of the senior people in the company was at our office today, too and he gave a presentation that I went down to. I didn't know much about what he was on about, but I guess it was kinda good to know what else is going on (it's a big company).

How was your day?

I had my favorite, chicken satay! That's good you're all up to date with work, bug fixing can be tricky if you can't find were the fault lies. Today was so-so, but I'm sure things will be better tomorrow.

It is, especially if you don't know the code well. Quite a bit of ours was written by someone who has left now and he didn't really document stuff, so we kind of have to go by trial and error sometimes. What happened today? Are you doing much tomorrow then?

I should be doing chess prep, as I've got a tournament game tomorrow. Other things are taking priority though..

Oh right I see, that makes it a bit trickier then, but I'm sure it will be an interesting challenge for you software guys. Just a rather uneventful and frustrating day for me, but I'll bounce back. Not sure what I'm doing tomorrow, might be playing some more golf. Is it just an internal tournament within your chess club?

I've never played golf, though I think I'd find it hard to hit the ball. Do you play often? Yeah, internal tournament running until mid August. The games will be sent for grading, like league and other tournament games would, so that's good (grades are numbers indicating playing strength).

I'd better get going, so see you guys tomorrow.

Great, trying to do something and wondering if it's worth me bothering :/. *Sigh*.

I go occasionally, it was hard to hit the ball and make it go in the right direction at first. But now I can do it successfully (most of the time). Still need to get used to a full swing though.
