Oh identity, did you really just ask that question? It's all fluffy and white, of course it's clean!

Where did Errol get his name?

I believe Taupey asked me the same question, but I'll be happy to answer your question:

"I picked Errol's name from the last name of Little Lord Fauntleroy of Frances Hodgson Burnett's novel of the same name (his full name was Cedric Errol, 3rd Earl Fauntleroy). Said novel was one of my childhood favorites, and since I was fascinated by the name, I decided to name the white bear plushie Errol."

I'm surprised Errol looked almost exactly how I imagined he would. My mental images tend to predict appearances well in only a few cases.

He still looks good, although I did expect more fur and a smaller head relative to the body.

Dear Kevin, I believe that Errol has a thinner coat than if he lived in the wild in his natural cold climate. Being an inside pet in the Phillippines, he has probably never developed the undercoat typical of Arctic bears. Sylkat :)

Good point.

Hmm, I wonder if I could do the same to a penguin by bringing it in the summer.

The question is 'Can penguins be litter box trained?' If not, he'll look a bit odd waddling around the house in Depends...Sylkat

There is already one. His name is Kevin, and he likes computers a lot. In fact, most of you probably know him from being on Wrong Planet.

Dear Kevin, Help me with this, who do we know around here who is 18" to 24" tall, eats raw fish, loves to swim in ice water, and tends to carry raw eggs on his feet? If you have any ideas, let me know, I'm confused....Sylkat

I really wonder who would do that.. :D I do get criticized for my walk, which explains the repeated comparisons. It is either too smooth, too rough, too regular, too quiet, too noisy, or too waddle-like.

[x] Quite short
[x] Eats fish
[ ] Eats fish (raw)
[x] Likes swimming
[ ] Loves swimming
[x] Likes ice water
[ ] Carries raw eggs on feet
[x] Often looks like it is carrying something on feet
