Funnily enough though, I consider that small talk annoying in person if its someone you don't have a bond with. Then it just seems like talk for the sake of talking. But enough about that, I most likely will just be chilling today since there's little else I can do. Are you doing anything special today?

Yeah it's annoying if someone asks just because they feel they should or something. Chilling is good. 8) Apart from having been to the group I'm not particularly doing anything today, I might go in the garden in a minute actually although I probably won't last very long! I just had to ring Sainsbury's about messing up some things in the grocery shop and they aren't as good as Tesco with customer service I don't think because they tend to give you a voucher when they get things wrong; no such luck here!

Hi all. I'm just about to leave work for chess club. Could do with a win tonight, but I know nothing about my opponent so I'll just have to try and not make silly mistakes.

Hope everyone's well. I'll get back to PMs/emails from those I've been speaking to soonish :).

Yes that's how I feel about it as well, I would rather just have some comfortable silence than meaningless filler chat. How did the group go overall and what things miffed you while you were there? It still feels hot here but not much sun, seems to be hiding behind some clouds. I'm looking forward to the cold coming back! I think the voucher thing is just a quick fix solution. You would think it would be better to properly sort the original problem which would probably save them money, opposed to throwing vouchers at you

I will be in the crowd in spirit z3n, vuvuzela and all  But seriously, good luck and try not to over analyze things. Over analyzing can be just as bad as not thinking enough in my experiences.

I don't want to hear that vuvuzela. No noise at all please! :). I'm glad I at least know what one of those is now..

The sun has gone in here now aswell it seems which will cool it a bit I hope because last night it was almost impossible to sleep with the heat wasn't it. :/ Yeah that's true but I quite like having vouchers thrown at me when they make a mistake! I just put about the group in the Unhappy thread if you're interested; it's ok I don't expect anyone to say anything, just venting really.

Funnily enough, it looks like the sun won the battle with the clouds as it has been out since shortly after I said that  Apparently by the end of the week it will be all gone, here's hoping. Especially with me having the warmest room in the house! Reminds me, I have £20 of vouchers from Asda Direct I got at the end of last year that I have yet to use. If their games and such weren't always so expensive, I would have an excuse to use them grrr. I responded there, probably not much help, but thought I'd share my own experience with my group.

It's still cloudy here. :P Yeah the room I'm in at the moment is pretty hot too! Do they ever have sales on the games for you to use that voucher? Thanks for your reply Colin, it's good to know how others feel aswell. :)
I'll be off soon as I'm feeling rather tired from the group and stuff, so I'll say goodnight. See you all soon I expect!

Not as of yet, but I don't think they have an expiry on them so no rush, just a long wait to use them. That's alright, I'm glad you ended up making the post as I'm always happy to help or try to at least. I tend to feel drained after socializing so that's understandable, hopefully speak to you tomorrow. Goodnight Identity.
