There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship's smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move
But I can't hear what you're saying

When I was a child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye

I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown
The dream is gone
I... Have become comfortably numb

"Gone Away"

Do you pray
In the night
Can you appreciate the wind
And I won't care
I won't fight
I need you close to sing
It's the same beginning
Gone away
It's the same old, same old song
Gone away
It's my whole life
In words
And I can't breathe
When you cry
But I'll be there to hold you tight
And I would kill
I would fight
To keep you close
I keep singing the same way
I won't live
If you died
If I can feel you in the wind
And this is me
It's my life
I'll need you close to sing
It's the same beginning
Gone away
It's the same old, same old song
Gone away
It's my whole life
In words
Gone away
It's the same old, same old song
Gone away
It's my whole life
And I can't say
And I don't know
How far
I'll go
And I can't say
And I don't know
How far
I'll go
Gone away
It's the same old, same old song
Gone away
It's my whole life
In words
Gone away
It's the same old, same old song
Gone away
It's my whole life

My ideal song/mood lyric right now....IDK. I think it would have to be,

Scene after scene passes by my life
The window's a wound. The road is a knife
The irony, ask me, 'where have you been?'
I don't know, I don't know
Because I don't know where to begin"

Or:
Before time takes each year, like a knife cuts it clear
It's school, then work and then life that just sharpens the blade
I think about time for fun
I think about time for play
Then I think about being done, with no resume
With no one left to blame
What about fortune and fame?
What about your love to obtain?

In search of some rest, in search of a break
From a life of tests where something's always at stake
(Both By Carbon Leaf)

i have not the ability to rise to mozart's standard ,but i understand his music, and i am of a lesser mind, and i can only think of average harmony's that fit his assertions,

Say it for me
Say it to me
and I'll leave this life behind me.
Say it if it's worth Savin' Me.
Nickelback - Savin' Me
You know I did it, it's over and I feel fine.
Nothing you can say is gonna change my mind.
Waited and I waited the longest night.
Nothing like the taste of sweet decline.
Foo Fighters - DOA

that is a very well written song.
i do not particularly identify with the people in the video however.

here is another song that is about "summer" that is an old australian song. i do identify with this man (although he is dead) and i consider it a brilliant song that i will emulate when i have the means to.

All I heard was the sound of fish who'd drowned.
All I saw was the inside of my eyelids.
All I said fell short of reaching open ears.
Word's floating, clouding the view...
“See no, hear no, speak no evil” leave you deaf, dumb and blind, because the bad is all that you'll find.
A deeply heart-felt goodbye to the part of me that dies when I decided to put others before me, yes, my heart fell asleep -- boredom and fatigue.
I always said I wanted to die smiling, to pretend I'm at peave.
Now from my corpse beams a frigid, blank grin and once hopeful eyes are sunken in.
Like a lullaby to the cradle is the eulogy to the casket.
All my flaws swept under the table to grieve the porcelain doll that was me.
Their solemn songs sang me to sleep as my body escaped me.
Welcome down to the new world!
Happiness is being interred!
Such a shameful masquerade!
Fleeting, frozen minutes on display.
Why is evolution such a shameful thing to say?
Can you feel your bodily decay?
Arms are beside me, hands open wide.
Seems I was living my life in rewind, taking so many steps backwards, not looking behind.
Because I can sure as hell feel my brain going blank.
If my body betrays me, this pollution to thank.
This condition infects my cells like it controls my mind.
Internal army, defend me behind enemy lines!
Fragile vehicle of mine!
Don't abandon me yet!
There is so much to live for that we so easily forget.
Fascination with the fear...
The concept escapes me.
All encompassing fate... how it wrenches out hearts, torments our souls ans sings us all to sleep, to an eternal keep, no matter what beliefs, it sings us all...

Not a song but a poem....

Minha terra tem palmeiras,
Onde canta o sabiá.
As aves que aqui gorjeiam
Não gorjeiam como lá.

Nosso céu tem mais estrelas,
Nossas várzeas têm mais flores.
Nossos bosques têm mais vida,
Nossa vida mais amores.

Em cismar, sozinho, à noite,
Mais prazer encontro eu lá.
Minha terra tem palmeiras,
Onde canta o sabiá.

Minha terra tem primores
Que tais não encontro eu cá;
Em cismar — sozinho, à noite —
Mais prazer encontro eu lá.
Minha terra tem palmeiras,
Onde canta o sabiá.

Não permita Deus que eu morra
Sem que eu volte para lá;
Sem que desfrute os primores
Que não encontro por cá;
Sem qu'inda aviste as palmeiras
Onde canta o sabiá.

It’s a broken world that we live in. / Won’t somebody take me away? / Won’t somebody fly me away?

Won’t my dragon fly me away? / Fly me away…fly…

Take me over forests, / take me to the stars. / Fly me over deserts, / fly me so far.
Save me from the mountains, / take me to the Mana tree. / Take me to meet my mother, / fly me my Flammie.

Fly me away…if you ever need a friend. / Fly me away…if you think all hope is gone. / Fly me away…if you are ever afraid. / Fly me away…this is my dragon song.
