My stuff is light beech coloured as well, besides the bed and hi-fi cabinet thing. What else do you need? Are you doing much tonight/this weekend?

Appraisal was fine. Well, I don't really like praise but my boss seemed pleased with how I've been working in the 7 months I've been there. Meh, not being able to fix the loneliness problem.

Sounds like you would of got more use out of it than me then! Well, since that wasn't suitable just a better sized storage unit will do me fine. Probably not, unless I end up playing golf on Sunday as Saturday would be way too busy. At least it was some positive feedback from the boss and that's all that matters :) It is a tricky one, it comes and goes with me. I can function fine without company, but sometimes it just feels like a chunk that's missing from my life.

I'm not in need of any new furniture right now, though the cat might like something new to sit on! Is it usually busier on Saturdays than Sundays, then? Yeah, I know what you mean about having a chunk missing; I'm currently feeling quite empty.

I never knew you had any cats, is it just the one you have? I have two, one of which thinks my bed is the best sleeping spot in the world. Most places tend to be busiest on a Saturday, so I don't tend to like going out much on a Saturday. Do you think you will be trying meetup again?

Just one, yeah. She was sitting on my mum's computer monitor earlier and tends to change sleeping places fairly often. What kind are yours?

More games tomorrow perhaps? Well, I'm scheduled to go to a meetup on Sunday, but dunno if I'll feel like it. In two weeks, I'm going to see people at my last university. A couple said they'd come and visit me at some point, but I dunno.

Yes they enjoy resting on everything, even the suitcases whenever we pack to go away. They are just tabby cats, is yours a certain breed? Maybe, there is some games on the backlog I've yet to finish. What sort of meet up is it? Because I know there is different kinds of groups on that site. I could see why you would be hesitant about the Uni meet up, didn't you say they hadn't been in much contact with you?

Ah, we used to have a tabby. I don't know what ours is now.. black and white, heh. Are yours related? Which games do you want to finish?

It's just a meetup for people who want to eat out really. The organiser is the same one who organised Batman last weekend and I've still not heard from them about that :/. Sigh, yeah, I just don't feel particularly wanted by them. Even when I try to reach out, they're not too helpful and just kind of ignore me :(.

No we got them both at separate times. One from cat protection, and the other that was abandoned at a cattery due to the death of its owner. One is black and white with a touch of brown and the other is ginger and white. Portal 2 and Mafia 2, had good fun playing those and would like to finish them. Hmm, I hope this meetup is organized more successfully than the last one then. Would be nice to potentially meet new people to talk to, I would be quite anxious to have one of those meetups

That's unfortunate, personally I wouldn't see them if there wasn't much of a friendly connection there. I only have time for people that want to speak with me. It can be a sad realization sometimes when you realize how low that number is.

Ah. What do you do if you go away then? Is there someone to look after them, or d'you take them to a cattery? My mum's going to be away later this year and a neighbour is going to feed ours, because I don't have much time in the mornings. I've not heard of the Mafia games. What are they?

Hmm, we'll see if I go or not. I wouldn't ask the organiser what happened with Batman, as I'd be too scared of doing that. Yeah, it's not like I have much choice with people to spend time with.

If all of us go away then yes they would go to the cat hotel for a week or 2. Sometimes I pass on the family holidays though as its the same places I've been to before, so sometimes I can look after them. Mafia is an action game set in the 40's about a man doing different illegal jobs in order to raise money to clear off his mothers debt. Well that's as much as I know from what I've played, but it is good. There's some nice people on here including yourself I would like to meet. Shame that we are scattered all over the place.

How many is all of you then? I think you mentioned your mum and a sibling (brother?) the other day. Sorry, I tend to ask questions when I don't know what to say :/. Mafia sounds like it could be good, though I don't really play games these days. Some of us could maybe do that at some point, dunno though.

Yes those 2 and also her boyfriend. I don't mind, I like getting and asking questions. You don't tend to find out much about people without asking questions. I figured, enough of your time is invested in chess as it is! There is different meet ups that have been arranged on here. Not seen any for my area or noticed many people from my area either.

Yeah, that's why I tend to ask! I don't tend to spend much time on chess really, because I end up wanting to do other things and then feeling crap that I can't. I know there have been meetings down here, but I'd just feel a bit apprehensive about meeting forumites I hadn't spoken to online before.

What other things do you like doing in your spare time, as chess is the only thing I know about. Yes I saw there was a London meet up thread, but I know what you mean. I would like to at least be familiar with the people I would be planning on meeting preferably, as I've said before I don't like surprises!

Nothing really. I just spend most of it browsing WP or other sites I use. I listen to music and watch some TV and stuff, but not a lot. There are other things I want to do, like learning about fluids properly, but again, I just get so fed up that I lose motivation to do anything. Ah yes, I remember you mentioned that before. Do you do much besides games and golf?

What sort of music and tv shows do you tune into? Motivation and focus has been a long standing enemy of mine, shame experiencing both are rare for me as I find I take quite a bit in when I do. One thing I would like to learn is Spanish, been to the country enough times and it is majorly used so it would be quite handy to know, and also getting better at golf. I enjoy my TV shows and movies and doing other sports in general, apart from jogging I find that really boring. I also enjoy technology and computing as well, learning about how different things work and getting hands on with things. In terms of computing I see it as more of a hobby than a job as there are some aspects I don't like about it, in the area I'm qualified for anyway.
