If Estonian were to seriously lose 11 of the 14 cases and the o sound differentiations, it'd be quite an easy language.

I wish that we had an onboard self-analysis feature that would give a more detailed report on anything amiss within ourselves.

in etronan, both verbs and nouns are inflected. there are no traditional adjectives in formal speech, bu they can occcur in the colloquial; one can determine register by their use.

VERBS can be modified by aspect, time, desires, object and volitions. the aspects include neutral, perfective, progressive, past-habitual, and beginning/initiating (an action). volitions include “want”, “guess to want” and “purposefully”. "accidentalness" is indicated lexically.

lot of languages find themselves being stripped of grammatical complexity once they become very widely spoken. english had a more developed case system before it took over the planet.

i think an argument can be made as to whether there is a degree of objectivity in "superiority" of languages, whatever that may entail. it's not something i read about often, though it sounds a bit intriguing.
