The live-action remake of Aladdin, to be directed by Guy Ritchie, will begin filming this summer.

Disney is trying to hurry the casting process and is looking for newcomers of Middle Eastern descent to play Aladdin and Jasmine, so don't expect whitewashing.

I thought John Favreau's remake of The Jungle Book was an excellent movie.

I also saw the remake of Beauty and the Beast yesterday and thought the same when the movie finished.
