My teleportation cone teleported without me in it

Well go on then, talk about English - I mean, it's better than any other language because then I would be utterly clueless!

Or maybe I'm just procrastinating on my English homework. I did get 10th place out of 60 teams yesterday, a pretty good rank for answering all the questions by myself. But you'd probably get 1st place by yourself in that event... at nationals. :D

 Probably not, there must be a student specialized in microbiology. I already started specializing in biomedical engineering, so my knowledge of microbiology with a taxonomic focus would be weaker (but I compensate with learning Greek and Latin).

YOU DIVIDED BY ZERO. OH DEAR. MUST I REALLY COLLECT YOU AT SUCH A YOUNG AGE? AS YOUR ETERNAL PUNISHMENT, THE UNIVERSE WILL DIVIDE BY YOU, THAT IS TO SAY, IT WILL DIVIDE BY 7 958 389, WHICH WAS NOT ARBITRARILY CHOSEN.

Well, in any case, you'd know a lot more about microbiology than I do. I wish I knew as much scientific information as you do. In fact... *runs off to the "Corrupt a Wish" thread*

*Returns* 8O Um... I would post there if I knew what you were talking about.

I doubt that, especially because you do have valid experience in dealing with microbiology and the qualitative quirks such as the grape-like odor. I know a decent amount about the molecules involved (folding propensities, structures, properties of the amino acids, nucleotides, bases, nucleosides) but that would be something like trying to study different manufacturers of cars by variations in a universally used engine (which currently seems to be an unattractive special interest).

ERROR: THE USER YOU ARE TRYING TO SPEAK TO CANNOT BE REACHED BECAUSE SHE HAS TURNED INTO A BLACK HOLE.

Just kidding. See, those are exactly the things I don't know about. There are quite a few molecule-based questions on the Protein Modeling test, though. You should do amazingly if you were in that event. :D

...You might be able to join right now, before regionals occur? You'd be a great asset to your school's team, if your school has a team.

 ....
OK. The part about anyone else being in the Olympiad is definitely the fundamental problem. Worst case, I file as a, "special-needs," student and join as an un-puer team.

EDIT:
Original: "...one-machine team."
Revision: "...un-puer team."

I'm sorry... Now I wish you were on my school's team. You'd boost my school's ranking, and you'd fit in with the people I eat lunch with. LOLOLOLOL

EDIT: There is no "special needs" category in Science Olympiad. All people are treated equally, after all.

Special needs = extended deadlines?

No, each event is 1 hour long. No exceptions.

Not for the event, that would be unjust. I meant for assembling the un-puer team and paperwork.

There are more than 40 events in total. I don't think 1-person teams are even allowed. :(

Wouldn't it be cool if there was a team that consisted solely of people with AS, whose special interests all coincide with the event they're doing?
