I'd love to be able to color my lineart on Gimp. (Coloring! Such a small thing to ask for!) I tried digitally coloring my amphithere picture with my mouse, but it failed.

Someone else knows of GIMP! Hooray for openware!

Maybe you should try getting a tablet. They seem to be getting increasingly affordable.

Salve, amator-zeldae!

I'd like to get one, but my parents wouldn't let me. Drawing pictures is "a waste of time".

Yes, fortunately our scanner is amazing and easy to use.

"Dirty" is relative. Everything is made of atoms, after all. By saying that E. coli is "dirty", you're implying that it is made out of parts that are unequal to parts that make up other "clean" things or organisms. And isn't all natural life on Earth carbon-based?

Coliform bacteria are considered dirty in drinking water because people learned that people are not good water filters, especially if the solid component was mixed as well. The water of the old Thames, when it was still filtered by what was said to be half a dozen pairs of kidneys, had plenty of problems....

Again, it depends on your definition of "dirty". If it's interpreted as "being able to cause disease", then you're correct.
By my definition, bacterial diseases are the result of living organisms invading the body and taking advantage of the body's cells. That's not "dirty". That's clever.

But they use dirty tricks like endotoxins and allergy-causing antigens! And they even dump all their waste anywhere they want (even though some of the waste, vitamins, are considered useful)!

Harmful as certain types of bacteria are, I think we're giving them too little credit for their evolutionary ingenuity.
