Not really. All weekends are pretty much like that.

I wouldn't say that, if you feel the prospect of friends can benefit your life then I think it would be worth a try. I would imagine there would be an aspergers group near London which may be good for you, least then you would know you're in like minded company and the normal social expectations would not apply. Not everyone will warm to you though, even here I've tried to speak to others in the past only to be ignored. But sometimes those efforts can pay off

Nothing I do seems to work, though. I think maybe it's just meant to be like that but I don't like it. I also want to avoid the group with the guy who I think used me, cos I don't really want to speak to him (and I'd be too scared of telling him that, cos I don't really like confrontation).

I disagree, I think you show the qualities of a good friend. I can definitely relate as most of my life has been the same, even now I don't have friends that I meet up with anymore. At times it feels like it would be easier to give up I'll admit, but I know that would leave me unhappy if I did. What group was this? I'm not sure if you told me about this or not Anyway, goodnight and I hope you feel better about things tomorrow.
